Our party just entered our first real dungeon. My wizard and our party’s bard successfully moved past two giant boars and into a side room with an optional treasure chest. It was then our rogue’s turn who was rolling extremely well up to this point and we only had some inconsequential nat 1s so far. Then this happened.

Our group of 4 was fighting against a giant tree, 6 druids, and 6 Berserkers. One of our players has been basically 1v1ing the tree and taking a lot of damage. DM: The tree’s vines grab you and pull you underground. *rolls damage* …….*looks at player sadly*

you don’t have to like him personally, but thomas sanders makes kid-friendly lgbt content, is a very consistent and active ally to women, trans people, neurodivergent people, and poc, and is overall a great role model for the kids who regularly watch his content. his whole Thing is spreading positivity and empathy, and teaching lessons in emotional maturity through his videos.
but i guess it’s popular to hate him all of a sudden just because?? he really likes disney and harry potter???? what the fuck tbh
