Okay, this took longer than it should. My work on it was spasmodic as my hopeless lack of attention span keep getting in the way. Colouring is a bit 'meh', but as I really had to force myself to finish, it'll do.
This comic continues on from THIS ONE. That seems like so long ago now.
Okaaaay... Sorry about the 3 month absence guys. This blog was taking all my spare time, and I just ran out of steam.
It became another added pressure in my life instead a creative release. And whenever I sat down to try and draw an update, my body locked and my brain rebelled.
However, I don't want to end this blog hanging the way it is. Crackpot has been very important to me in getting back into art in general, and I own it to the dizzy little git to give him a proper ending.
So I'm going to work on the blog again until I can get it to a good point where I can say, "Okay, I'm done." I can leave this tale and these characters in a happy place and move on to other things.
I'm not sure who, if anyone, is still interested. But if you're out there, I hope you'll see it through to the end.

However, rather then go on hiatus, I'm going to let Ebony Rose (Mama Crackpot) answer a few questions while I get my shit together. Be warned though, She pulls no punches. Anyhoo... ASK AWAY! ))

So yes, from time to time, as you all know, instead of the good old signal boosting I find myself fidgeting to do a fanart simply for a blog I really, really enjoy. I think every artist in this fandom gets such feeling once every time in a month and well, I don’t fight it, I embrace it.
So sure, today guests, Crackpot (http://ask-crackpot.tumblr.com) definitely do not need any signal boosting considering how big it is, how much fan it already have and I am dead sure majority of my followers knows this pony and the spectrum of other characters from this blog quite well! So even if it doesn’t qualify for the PGA ‘signal boosting’ idea I just had to draw it, because, well…
Ask Crackpot is one of the rare examples of an exemplary Pony Ask Blog. It’s great on every field really. Let’s start with the art of a very high quality, clean, crisp, with its own, unique style – a true pleasure to the eye. It is surely one of the many features contributing heavily to the blog success! Bah, even the blog layout itself is deliciously designed! But even good art wouldn’t kick off so well without great characters, and this blog have’em all, all great thought OC’s that have both great visualizations, characters to match and lively interactions with everyone and everything that we can see in the setting. The blog, for one that is well known, is perfectly clear of any tumblr drama, so (*sadly!*) wide spread in this fandom! Updates arrive quite often, the author have good contact with the fans and everything works smoothly!
Basically, if you are thinking about making an Ask Blog, you can look through Ask Crackpot and take notes about how to run one ;)
So, I hope the author will like this little piece of fanart and keep on doing this great job.
Gosh! Such high praise. And such awesome fanart! I wish the 'Updates arrive quite often' was more true, and not 'every 3 weeks or so'. But I'm trying :)
