Imagine if Light was born on Feb 29th, that would add to his God complex so much.

With the post that Near and Mello were originally supposed to be L's children going around again. Imagine if that were the case and Light is the evil step mom trying to send them away.
They try to terrorize Light not realizing he's also super intelligent. So there is a bunch of chaos going on and they are trying to keep their mutual hatred for each other a secret from L.
L takes notes on Light regularly and keeps them in a notebook. At one point he opens it and Light has corrected it all with red pen.
Death Note Au where L and Light are together but get in a fight and break up. As they are walking away from eachother they are suddenly 8 years into the future and have to figure out how to get back. In this future they quickly discover that they are married and soon everyone around then starts to wonder why they are acting so strange.
Light's Roman Empire is himself
Death Note Au where L decides the Kira case isn't important enough for him to deal with. This obviously pisses Light off and Light somehow manages to track him down. He is like banging on the hotel door or something and then as L is opening Light realizes he has to think of an excuse as to why he is viciously banging on the door.
Death Note but once L and Light are alone L admits that he agrees with everything Light is doing and is willing to help in any way possible. Light gags and is actually considering stopping.
So you know how anime characters wear the same outfit everyday because it's easier to animate. Light should've been the exception, a brand new outfit everyday.
Death Note but the day L dies keeps looping for Light and only Light. He eventually realizes that the only way it will end is if L doesn't die. He tries for over a years worth of days to make it so L dies trying everything but nothing ever works.
Eventually after so many deaths L offers his own name to Light in exchange that he is the last kill.
L is heartbroken that Light seems like he wants to accept it.
Light responds with "although your death would bring me great joy, watching you suffer as more people die due to your incompetence is far more gratifying"
Death Note but Light is a gold digger and is not ashamed about it.
Death Note but every so often L tries to bribe Light to stop being Kira. The bribes get increasingly more absurd and crazy.
Is good Light or evil Light the Light that hasn't had a snickers?
