I want to kindly point out that rhaenyra refers to alicent as my queen and alicent refers to rhaenyra and daemon as prince and princess and dameon refers to alicent as... alicent. 😂 my man gives zero fucks about her 😂 He has only one queen and her name is rhaenyra.

The "Daemon groomed Rhaenyra" claims are really getting on my nerves. No he didn't.

The first time they kissed they were adults by MODERN standards and the first time they interacted with a romantic undertone she was of age by medieval standards. The rest of the time he wasn't even in court.

The only reason you losers can't stop bitching about Daemon gRoOmINg Rhaenyra is because Rhaenyra actually wanted to fuck Daemon since forever. If it was a bunch of candidates for her hand in marriage at 13 years old, which was the fucking NORM in the middle ages, you wouldn't give two shits, but because Rhaenyra actually liked Daemon and they actually had a connection, suddenly he's somehow gRoOmINg her and we are romanticising pedophilia-

Viserys (older than Daemon) was offered a 12 yo Laena as wife on the condition he'd bed her at 14. He impregnated a 15 yo Alicent. Why do I see no arguments about how he groomed Alicent? Because she wasn't into him? Because she hated his guts and spat on his wishes as soon as he died?

And Daemon "groomed" Rhaenyra by giving her a necklace at 15 and kissing her at 18? And because she was still into him ten years later, it must be something sinister he did? Can't be simply him looking hot, taking his partner's pleasure seriously and willing to defend her claim, noooo, no women could fall for that in their own, grooming it is!

Make it make sense.

This is actually infantilizing to Rhaenyra and a terribly sexist take against "naïve" Daemyra shippers. And the worst part is, the writer of the show, Sara Hess, said that Daemon was grooming Rhaenyra, which tells me the level of incompetence that these people have. How can a writer of House and Orange is the new black feel and understand historic fantasy literature like this and create complex anti-heroes like Daemon from the book? She can't. Period. Grooming my ass.

The directors even apparently said that Daemon's grooming deeply traumatized Rhaenyra. Wtf? What grooming? In any case, you don't show it on the screen! It's stupid. And the antis who use the argument of the statements of the directors, screenwriters or actors exasperate me to the point. Like they can't talk bullshit? Like Emma D'arcy who is mistaken herself on the age of her character in the episode of the brothel. Like Ryan Condal, believing Daemon really did kill his wife, in the fucking book where it's literally impossible, or hinting that Daemon's fucking song might have something to do with Luke's death. Like Sarah Hess who does not understand why we can love Daemon, but on the other hand can TOTALLY sympathize with Aegon, potential rapist with a REAL pedophile subtext under the pretext that we did not teach him the limits? The Daemyra relationship is not grooming. Whether in the series, or the book. Either way, Daemon isn't even actively present on the court. Is he a saint? No. Is he therefore a groomer, and a pedophile? No. Otherwise, all Targaryens and men of this universe would be pedophiles and groomers with their vision of these words! Let people learn their definitions once and for all. Especially since they do NOT refer to other men as groomers. So fuck them in all honesty, I'm so sick of this stupid, moralizing talk about the nature of their relationship. On the other hand, it really makes me laugh at people who ship Colrys and Rhaenys, but hate Daemyra for being incest. Lol. What do you think Colrys and Rhaenys are exactly? More seriously, what do we give a damn about the incest factor in this universe since it has no influence on those concerned?
