Whenever I see somebody talking about a character named "Albedo" my first thought is always this asshole (affectionate), not whatever character it actually is (usually Genshin these days)

Xenosaga II is just the weirdest game. The character designs, blah; the battle system, aggressively unintuitive (like, the first time I played it took my 2/3 of the game to figure out how to effectively fight).

But I swear to God it has the best story of the trilogy, brilliant and emotional and gripping from beginning to end.

Just wish it was more fun to play.

i also really really really want to know what Chaos' deal is, he's like the emotional support angel or smth, like obviously he knows way more than he lets on but i'm fascinated by the quiet thread that's been playing out of him wanting to help more but being held back in some way

i really love the whole cast tbh and i also think, predictably, chaos is my favourite however
