I just love how in English you say “great minds think alike”, which is a completely positive thing since you’re kinda praising yourself, but in German you go like “zwei Dumme, ein Gedanke” = “two fools, one thought” 

German is beautiful, isn’t it

German is way more fucking accurate.

And in Finnish it’s “Joukossa tyhmyys tiivistyy” which can be translated as “Among them, stupidity condenses”.

I really, REALLY love my language and all but FUCK I love the Finnish language, how amazing is that!!!??? 😄🤣🤣🤣👍🏻🇫🇮

italian is similar to german and finnish too, it’s the opposite of positive, since we say “Dio li fa, poi li accoppia” which roughly translates to “God made them (idiots) and then paired them together”
