just a little reminder post that I'm holding an interest check for RinShi Week 2022 and I'd really appreciate any RinShi shippers filling out the form! we have about 30 responses so far and they have been very positive! I plan to keep it going about 2 weeks (maybe three?) to give others a chance to see it and determine the direction to go!

We're running an interest check for RinShi Week 2022 to decide the length (full week or weekend/three day event) which month to host the eve

Sun-kissed is a summer themed Rinshi Zine. It is all digital and completely free. If you are interested in writing or drawing for this ship, come join us and apply.

• All Applicants must be 16+
• The general rating of the work within this zine would be around 16+ at the highest.
• All zine pieces must be safe for work. Risqué pieces will be reviewed on a case by case basis, but straight NSFW pieces will not be permitted.
• Mild gore is also permitted in the zine, but nothing too major.
• Zine pieces may include other Aoex characters, but please keep the focus of the piece to Rin and Shiemi. Additionally, you may hint at other pairings in your piece, but Rinshi should be the only ship that is explicitly shown.
• The content within this zine should be primarily Rinshi, but some non Rinshi content is permitted.

Non Rinshi content should not outnumber Rinshi content.

Content focusing on just Rin or just Shiemi is permitted.

Content focusing on all of the characters is also permitted, just as long as Rin and Shiemi have prominence.

• Crossovers and OCs are not permitted in this zine.
• You may contribute in multiple pieces, and apply for any of the categories. However please be realistic with yourself and the timeframe. Do not overcommit yourself.
• Most of the communication for this zine will be done through Discord, so it is required that you have an account.
• For submissions:

You must include something with Rin or Shiemi. Although Rinshi work is not required for the submissions, it is highly encouraged.

• All artwork must be full illustrations. Color is not required, but the pieces should be finished and polished artwork. Color is required for Cover Art, but nothing else.

The only exception to all artwork must be full illustrations, is artwork accompanying fics. Although they can be full illustrations, they do not have to be. Artwork accompanying a fanfiction should be clean sketches at the minimum.

• If you wish to illustrate for a specific writer, please apply with that writer in the collaboration form
• Please make sure your art is high quality.
• Traditional art is also permitted, just make sure your work is high quality

• For fics- word count for zine entries must be between 1,000-3,000 words. Entries cannot exceed 3,000 words.
• If you do have another non-fic idea that you would like to write in this zine, feel free to share it! We are open to other forms of writing beyond fanfic
• Since the overall rating of this zine is 16+ profanity is allowed.
• For Submissions:

Please keep your writing samples to under 3,000 words. If you are using an excerpt from a fic, it is fine if the fic itself is longer, but the excerpt should not be.

If you are using a Google Doc, please make sure the Doc’s sharing is set to, “Anyone with the link can view”, BEFORE you submit the Google Doc

Twitter threads will not be accepted

• If you wish to do a collaboration with someone, please use the collaboration forum to apply together.
• For Submissions:

Because there are two people, you will be submitting information and samples from both applicants.

If you both have already worked together, it is highly encouraged that you send some collaborative work. If not, that’s okay, just send in work from both applicants.

June 7th: Concepts/Thumbnails/Sketches Check-in

June 30th: First Check-in

July 31st: Second Check-in

August 20th: Final Submissions

August 26th: Release Zine

Sun-kissed will be a free, digital zine for RinShi. The theme of the zine is summertime.

if interested the applications for it are open now til May 27th!  

the plan is to have it ready by August (so three months about, but keep in mind it’s a digital zine and free)

I know that is a bit soon but wanted to get something out before the year ends as promised, the results from the interest check will instead be used for planning the event in 2023! and as always if worried about the time late works are welcome and encouraged and will still get shared <3

with 2022 here, I'd like to start on the process of planning RinShi Week for this year and I'd like to ask all RinShi / Rin x Shiemi fans help in the process!

previous years I'd setup RinShi Week and all planning through @rinshiweek but as we are a smaller fandom I think it'll be best I host all future events here and we'll reblog all info/content over there! but all major things will be here from now on to make things easier!
