there are sooo many valid criticisms concerning the whole watcher situation, even in light of their response, but i find it suspicious that everyone's dogpiling steven lim and making it sound like he and ryan held shane at gunpoint and forced him to make that original video announcing streamer as if he isn't a grown adult capable of making his own decisions. i keep seeing all these "shane "eat the rich" madej would NEVER approve this" comments across platforms and it's like. guys. he's literally RIGHT THERE. he's in the original video asking us to give him our money just like steven and ryan. it just feels super icky, like "look at what these evil asian men are forcing our precious White Boy of the Decade to do" type of rhetoric
