There was so little they could do against someone with superior skill. All who had attempted to invade the garage were rendered corpses before much more damage could be done to the building. Luckily, the boat hadn't sustained any despite the momentary chaos.
Beyond the stretch of darkness, his question would be greeted with only the remnants of wood and small debris losing its grip to fall into the abyss beyond. Clanks of boards slapping against walls would echo only to create a much more muffled sound as it struck the ground.
The tiniest hint of light would begin to illuminate a spot just within view. Movement, though slow, and mildly disoriented would follow before the image of Jez' visage peering up would become more apparent. Albeit streaked with a bit of blood from the fall.
"I'm alright." She called. Her words a touch slurred, feeding into the fact she'd likely hit her head at some point during the unexpected drop. "I'm --" dragging her legs closer, a hand would reach up to touch against sanguine along her hairline. Wincing lightly as she does so.
It was a straight shot down with no means of climbing back out. The walls looked frail at best, and judging by the crumbled chunks falling free of it, it'd be extremely bad to try to climb it. But based on the way light spread around Jez from her little origami box, she may have fallen into some kind of tunnel.
