❛ Pierce Brosnan has everything on Swayze. ❜ Jaw slightly dropped and looking positively offended, Kurt quickly grinned as Adam finally gave in to his counter suggestion. He wasn’t exactly sure whether Mamma Mia would ever be able to compare to the iconic early ‘00s pop culture phenomenon that so happened to be Moulin Rouge, but given their current predicament, and the more he found himself spending time with Adam, it definitely seemed like a much less emotional alternative to what otherwise usually brought on many hours of him mourning over his former high school relationship. Or at least memories of Blaine.

Adam rolled his eyes, still determined that Swayze was far hotter than Brosnan, but nowhere near as hot as Kurt, of course. He didn’t continue the argument though, instead he kissed Kurt’s forehead gently. “There are very few things you couldn’t persuade me to, Kurt,” he said, smiling at the other boy. He started the movie and leaned back in the couch, just enjoying the film and Kurt’s company.

Patrick’s face lit up and he chuckled as he walked in, looking at the awesome creation Adam built. “This is amazing. I haven’t built a fort since I was a kid.” He bit his lip and smiled brightly, moving to wrap his arms around Adam’s neck. “Please tell me there are snacks in there.” He wrinkled his nose into a chuckle.
Adam grinned, looking at Patrick. “Of course, it wouldn’t be a great pillow fort without snacks.” He wrapped his arm around the boy’s back, a wide smile on his face. “Do you want to check out the inside?” He was excited that Patrick was finally here so he could show off his work.
On my way to teach summer school, but like this for a starter when I get back or IM me to plot. Will do replies this afternoon.

Chairs, the couch and even the living room table had been positioned to serve as walls and all his pillows, and blankets had been moved to the living room to serve as walls and roof and floor. He’d even gone out to buy more soft things to make the experience complete. “I figured we could do something different tonight.”

❝ We could still always watch all of them together.” He realized watching every single romantic movie ever made was probably a little bit of a tall order, but even still, any time spent hanging out on the couch with Adam had so far proven nothing if not thoroughly enjoyable; his main goal to keep the other male happy and content in their agreement and his mind from wandering to the subject of Blaine so far thankfully succeeding. “Okay, we are going to have a problem,” Kurt chuckled, shaking his head in somewhat disagreement. “There’s no possible way Dirty Dancing is better than Mamma Mia. I mean, yes, I agree it’s iconic and there’s definitely something appealing about the thought of one young Patrick Swayze hoisting you up in the air like nobody’s business, but that doesn’t quite beat the Meryl Streep factor. Plus, Pierce Brosnan could definitely still be considered very good looking in the movie. Even in his fifties.”
“That we could,” Adam agreed. He certainly wouldn’t mind watching romance movies with Kurt all day, in fact there were few things he could think of that he’d rather do. Any time spent with Kurt was good time. “You cannot be serious,” Adam shook his head, “Pierce Brosnan has nothing on Swayze.” There was something very nice about bickering over movies like this, and how Kurt was so into it. “How about we start with Mamma Mia then? I’ll admit it’s a good movie, and who doesn’t love some ABBA on a romantic evening?”

❝ But you’re British,” Kurt exclaimed, eyes momentarily averted from browsing through the majority of Adam’s Netflix account and putting down the remote as couldn’t help but laugh at the older male quietly. “How can you possibly not have seen a movie so prominently set in London? I guess there’s also Kate & Leopold.” His lips curled up into a somewhat apologetic smile as he leaned further against him. “I’m not sure … I mean, obviously, it’s a classic, but I’ve personally always been much more of a fan of Grease or Mamma Mia.”
“ A lot of movies are set in London, Kurt,” Adam laughed, “I couldn’t possibly see all of them, that would leave me with no time for you.” He grinned, he probably should have seen Notting Hill, it was quite an iconic movie after all. He was soon distracted from that thought though, “Grease? Mamma Mia? Oh this is marvelous. those movies are great, the music is amazing. I don’t agree that they’re better than Dirty Dancing, but they’re good.”
“Alright, confession time. I’ve never actually watched Notting Hill. I am familiar with the ‘I’m just a girl standing in front of a boy’ part, but apart from that I can’t say anything about it. I do love Julia Roberts though.” What had started as a decision to watch a romantic movie and make it theirs had turned out to be quite the project. Picking their movie was a task not to be taken lightly, so here they were, cuddled up on Adam’s couch, discussing romantic movies. “What about Dirty Dancing? It has the music, the dancing and of course the iconic line ‘nobody puts Baby in a corner,’ it’s great.”

“I’d honestly like to just have the love and not have any of the hurt,” he shrugged softly, “It seems like the latter one happens more often then the first.” Josiah sighed, “Or people could quit being jerks, either way, either option doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen anyway.”
“Yeah, we’d all like that wouldn’t we?” Adam agreed, “but apparently hurt is the price we pay for love.” He sighed, looking at Josiah. "Either way, we don’t get to decide if it’s worth it or not, we don’t get to decide to fall in love, it just happens, whether we accept it or not.”
