#when i was a kid i always ate cereal with warm milk and it baffled me that people used cold milk#it's like having cold tea i just couldn't fathom that people preferred that??#that's also how i poured the milk first bc you had to warm it up beforehand and when i stumbled upon the Discourse i was like#but doesn't your cereal get extra soggy if you warm it up in the milk???#might be my most controversial food opinion yet but when i have cereal in milk i still prefer it warm#tho i mostly eat cereals/granola in yoghurt nowadays#other stuff

saw a poll about dry/humid heat and like OBVIOUSLY everyone preferred dry heat but. would love to know what everyone considers to be “too hot”
me personally it’s a hard cutoff at 75°F. don’t need anything more than that thank you 🫶🫶🫶
#oops misread the instructions and thought this said ideal temperature#i think everything past like 28°C just registers as Hot to me#pains me to know that that was a rare occurrence in summers when i was tiny but now it's basically a given....#pls I'm not made to withstand heat i grew up in a rainy european sea climate#also the hotter it is the worse chest dysphoria gets 🥴🥴#uh anyway i haven't really answered the question yet. i think max is 26°C for me. like hot but not the worst. above that i am actively dying#other stuff

that is a fun fish fact!! the thing i keep thinking of is that human eyes (not sure if it's also a thing in other species) have their own immune system separate from that of the rest of the body, because if the main system found out about your eyes it'd attack them and make you go blind. not sure what eyes ever did to it but y'know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
