Eyes widen slightly as his head lifted to look up at the man. There was something eerily familiar.

“… How do you know me..? Who are you?”

He spread his arms in an innocent gesture, the same smile remaining on his face. “Do you not remember me? I remember my orders against you that I had in the past. I remember partially burying you. I feel sorry for the pain you had to suffer through, but orders were orders.”

“Who or what the hell are you suppose to be?”  

“Watch your tongue, or I just might cut it out. I am Asura, one of the six paths of pain.”

Kadia quickly jumped backwards as his tail swiped towards her. She should of ran, she should of gone to heal those who needed her and yet she stayed. Why? Not even Kadia knew the answer to that.

“If he’s dying why not have your last few moments of freedom?!” The Hatake noticed the difference in his demeanour and voice. It seemed she hadn’t gotten through. It was something she had been counting on and now all she had was her fighting abilities to keep her alive. Bad news.

His words came out strained, as he had to force out each word. He was struggling against the hold Nagato had over him. “I-I can’t. It is not as if I am my own man, I am a puppet used by my leader. I am a weapon. I do not wish to kill you, Hatake. Run.” He could no longer struggle against Nagato’s control. He knew such as he felt himself remove one of his arms to reveal a chakra cannon. His chakra began channeling into it,  then he fired it at her.”

“A puppet master.” It really wasn’t a question but a statement to herself. the Hatake had only met a few puppet masters in her life but this still didn’t seem the right way to evolve in a sense. Or at least that’s ho she saw it.

“I thought puppet masters liked the control. You have no control, no sense of how it should be. Is that how you want it?” Kadia was either stupid or reckless, either way she didn’t move away from Asura but rather took a step towards him.

“And run away from something so intriguing? You seem to have gotten the wrong idea of me.” There was no denying it, she was reckless and yet her green she’s still shone with the same brightness they always did.

His face of anger remained the dominant face, glaring at her. “Don’t try to toy with me with such words. All you are trying to do is get me to betray my leader. He is dying as is, and I couldn’t go against him if I tried. He controls me.” Suddenly, he felt the flow of chakra as Nagato took control of him specifically once more, and he spoke slowly. “Hatake. Run. Now.”

He had no control over his own ‘body’ anymore, lashing out using his tail. His entire tone of voice had changed, as if each word was being forced through him. The sound of his voice was bland nonetheless. “Enough speaking. Die.”
