i got a 99 on my orgo exam! they'll probably get harder as the term goes on but i'm off to a great start.

i'm also really proud of myself for staying consistent and going to the gym/getting some kind of workout most days of the week. the early mornings can be rough but i got to see the most beautiful sunrise a few days ago <3

I have applied for a PhD at my current university, but I highly doubt I will get it. I am still not sure whether it's the right option for me, but we'll see.

I took my psychology and pedagogy exam on Thursday. I couldn't be happier that it's finally over and I even got the best possible grade! I'm so relieved but now the stress is still wearing off and I'm feeling really exhausted. Still, next exam is right ahead.

🍷 15.04.2024 // revisions are a little bit easier with a glass of cider (I'm still exhausted tho, and I swear I'll dream about cardiovascular diseases tonight). It was a huge revision day, I'm pretty satisfied of it :))

some reading for my microbiology class, plus my library books came in!!

academic: took my first orgo exam of the term! it didn't go perfectly but i answered every question and anything i got wrong will be an opportunity to refine my learning.

physical: went to the gym to relieve exam stress. did some yoga for the first time in ages and wow i am nowhere near as strong as i was a year and a half ago but it'll be fun to see myself improve over the next few months.

social: a casual basketball group at my college is looking for new members so i emailed them to ask if they're open to total beginners. it was horrible and scary but i'm making a conscious effort to try new things and meet new people so i'm proud of myself no matter what they end up saying.

life lately!

don’t think i’ve actually posted anything since starting clinicals (7 whole months wow!) but i’ve somewhat recently reached a good balance between studying and enjoying myself. clinicals are actually quite fun once you adjust and get past the mildly soul-crashing aspect of always being the most lost person in any situation; there’s lots to learn and lots of people more than willing to teach you despite their own busy schedules! i’ve become close to classmates that i had never interacted with much before and have probably found for the first time in my life an efficient and productive study schedule that actually works for me. all in all clinical rotations are a little hellish but sooo much fun and have given me a little sneak peak into potential career paths -though i’m 90% settled on a field i experienced early in rotations.

Day 4 of 100 Days of Productivity

I hate revising/revisiting a topic. I don't know about anyone else, but I constantly want to be learning something new. Going back to a topic feels so tedious. I'll try to get better at this skill.

every time exam season comes around, i am painfully reminded of why i should’ve started my revision weeks ago… the only thing keeping me going is listening to seventeen on repeat

I had a tiring day, I spent the whole day in the library studying and finishing some assignments, but at least it was productive. I studied for my logistics and industrial processes exams, as well as doing numerical calculation and physics exercises.
