Finn is great in TFA but his costume is a little bland. Makes sense considering the context but they could’ve livened it up a bit and made it more striking. Firstly keeping some armour from the stormtrooper, not much but enough to keep him protected (although considering he’s a defector he’s not wanting to be spotted) and give him a kind of rough scavenger/bounty hunter look. Keeping the jacket but inverting the colours is a lot nicer than the drab olive that he, Poe, and all the resistance end up wearing across the ST.

But hey I like kicking ant hills for shitty Star Wars fans. And since you cast the first stone in the tags: Kyle Ron and Mary Sue Ray are Canonical Dyad Soulmates so anyone she’s put with after ep 9 will never be able to live up to that level of connection or romance in the story. And worse? That unlucky guy will forever be her back-up love interest AT MOST lol. Finn would actually be happier with Poe anyway, they actually fight FOR each other than against each other in the films.
