Well, you might be a stone cold bitch to most other people, but I get the weird feeling that you actually might like me or something. Call me crazy, if you want…She flashes a grin at the other, her hands settling in her lap awkwardly as she tries to think of some way to avoid the question she’d been asked. Remy was not good at having or acting on her feelings, in fact, she pretended not to have feelings a good 99% of the time. Her brilliant plan was to pretend like the other was seeing things. Oh, yeah, that’d definitely work. What are you talking about ? I’m not blushing… you are.Internally, she immediately face palmed and wanted to hide under a rock for the next billion years.
Image

Usually it was Wren who would hide her feelings for someone as she was in the closet to most everyone she knew so she could see it when someone else was doing the same, and Remy was definitely doing the same. "Remy." She said her friends name softly, "if you are blushing, that's okay." She went on taking Remy's hand in her own, "I think you know that I like you too. And if anyone is an expert at hiding their feelings it's me so I can see that you've been doing that too. I just haven't had a chance to tell you yet that I've noticed." She said her face all of a sudden really close to the other girl's.

“What does that even mean?” she asked, withdrawing into herself a bit more with every passing second. “My blog is starting to do really well–and we’re friends, aren’t we?”
Image
“We’re friends Ange, yes. But that’s all I’ll ever feel for you. We’re just in different worlds. It’s better for you to just move on, you understand?”

“Yes, I’m aware but thanks for pointing out my dorkiness. I much appreciate it.” She giggled a little, having no issues with her partner’s word choice. “You’re good, cupcake, don’t worry. You don’t have to walk on eggshells around me-never.” Meadow was such a good girl, likely the best girlfriend that Skylar ever had. It was so silly to have even considered that the rumors were true. “Just keep snuggling me. And mayyybe give me more kisses. Those always help.”
Image

"Aw, I love your d-dorkiness. I d-don't know why you pretend to be other things when people are around." Meadow stated and smiled at the petname; she loved when Skylar called her things like that. "Okay, good. I d-don't know what I would d-do if I had t-to d-do that. I love you t-too much Sky." She murmured and happily kissed her girlfriends lips, deepening the kiss and crawled on top of her. "How about that? Is that helping? Because if it's not I can d-do this instead." She murmured trailing her fingers underneath Skylar's shirt and kissing her neck, suckin gon some loose skin and leaving a hickey. "Mine." She stated softly and smiled devilishly at her girlfriend. Though Meadow was pretty innocent to the view of the outside world, in the bedroom she was not and at that, she also liked to take charge.

Veronica opened her mouth to answer, but shut it again, unsure of what else to even say to her. “I mean–how was I even supposed to know that was an option when you’re just now saying something?”
Image
Deja threw her hands up in the air and her eyelids and eyebrows twitched involuntarily. “I don’t know Veronica. “ She said quietly crossing her arms over her chest, “how do you feel about me? Is there... Are there any feelings that are there that aren’t just platonic?”

“Ahhh, you’re right. Maybe it’s a little too soon to be so open about my shitty tv tastes. Forgive me, beautiful, you’ve seem to have clouded my judgement. Or maybe it’s the booze.” Iris laughed, both at herself and Dalis’s following comments. “I’m a wee bit of a lightweight. Always have been, always will be it seems.”
“Maybe I have, maybe I haven’t.” She polished off her drink with a soft groan. “Okay, I’m good on the alcohol front-don’t buy me anything okay?” Iris laughed again, drumming her nails along the rim of her now empty glass. “I haven’t had the likes of Jennifer Lopez or Usher or anything super crazy. I like to focus my attention on helping the lesser known get out there. Although I will name drop that I wrote a song with Kesha once, and she’s fantastic.”
Iris listened to Dalis intently, her eyebrows slightly raised. “A life coach? Don’t think I’ve ever met someone in your field before. What’s it like, I’m genuinely curious.” She smiled sweetly, propping her chin in her palm. She could tell that Dalis wasn’t super proud of her job choice, but Iris didn’t judge.
Image

“Maybe a little bit too soon but I’m glad you did because now I have something to tease you mercifully with!” Dalis said grinning at Iris. At the other woman’s compliments thrown in her direction, Dalis laughed softly, “you call everyone beautiful or just the ones you want to bring home after a night out?” She inquired raising her eyebrows at her. She then arched it even higher, “well in that case I’ll make sure you don’t drink too much. Wouldn’t want something to happen to someone so pretty.” Dalis could flirt with the best of them and she was going to show that to Iris. Especially when the other woman was flirting so blatantly with her.

“Lesser knowns music is what I tend to listen to anyway, so that’s pretty cool. I find that the really popular stuff is overrated, don’t you?” Dalis asked taking another sip of her drink and nodded, “okay. No more alcohol for you for ab it, got it.” She said laughing once again. “Yeah, a life coach,” Dalis continued and shrugged her shoulders, her strap from her dress falling down slightly, which Dalis failed to notice.

“Oh, not much to tell. People pay me to sort out their shit which they’ve fucked up over the years. Mostly I deal with spoiled rich people.” She added knocking back the rest of her drink. “But I’d rather talk about you, and your interests, really.” She said. “Or we don’t have to talk we can find somewhere else to go... I can already tell this evening is going to end up that way. At least, I hope it’s going to.” Dalis said her heart rate becoming quicker as she brushed her ankle against the other woman’s leg deliberately.

‘‘Well- I don’t hear you really complaining about that. I bet you like my attention, having me around you. Don’t you?’‘ she bit back, just to see how the other would react. ‘‘But I’m glad you got to have a taste of yourself, how was it? A disaster? Do tell. And don’t you dare to leave out any details.’‘
Image
“Shit.” The other woman had found her out though Scout hated to admit such a thing. “Fine, yes. I like having you around.” The brunette scowled at Belinda and took a cigarette out of her container that she’d had on the table not caring if she was allowed to smoke in their or not, she lit it and inhaled, exhaling right away.

“Tell you what now?” Scout asked putting her cigarette on the ashtray and climbing up onto Belinda’s lap, “I’d rather not talk right now, I’d rather just show you.” The criminal went on and kissed the other woman fully on the mouth, hands roaming freely down her body, though they were in a public setting.

“Ha, thanks I guess. I tend to have more trouble with men. The learn I’m bi and instantly try to go for a threesome. I have nothing against them, I’ve been in a few, but not right off the bat, you know?” The conversation was a little weird but in a way, she found it very charming. She took Kate’s phone and entered her number into, making sure to spell her name out. People always spelled it wrong. Well, not wrong, but wrong for her. “So, what brings you here? You here for work or something?” She asked, gesturing around the pseudo party they were at.
Image

Kate took her phone back and grinned at the other woman, "you won't regret giving me your number, I can tell you that straight away." She said pocketing her cell once again and shook her head. "Nah, not work. I'm a Nanny. Definitely not work. A friend dragged me here and now they're off hooking up with some guy. I didn't feel like going home yet, and I'm glad I didn't because I met you." Kate said being a little bit sappy. But that's who she was and she wasn't going to act differently even if she was with someone she'd just been intorduced to. "What about you?" She asked conversationally finishing off the last of her drink. "The pary actually isn't my kind of thing, I was thinking of heading out soon, go to a coffee shop or something." She added smiling at Leia, the smile was almost an invitation to go with her if she wanted.

“I’ve never blushed in my life–you need to stop making things up.”
Image

"You blushall the time sweetheart, you just don't notice it." Xantina went on. Flirting with her friend was fun and she wasn't going to stop quite yet. "There's nothing wrong with flirting you know, Naomi." Xantina shrugged and took a sip of her latte. "But fine, if it will make you feel better, your cheeks are clear." She couldn't help but smirk at her, unable to stop herself from licking her bottom lip at the same time while raking her eyes up and down her friend obviously checking her out.

Olivia nodded, still giving Blue an apologetic smile. “Yeah, I just had some discomfort with my prosthetic.” She said looking down at the leg. She shifted her weight again. “It’s fine now, for the most part.”

Image
Blue looked at Olivia with concern and put a hand on the other girls arm. "Is there anything I can do?" She asked hating to see Olivia in any kind of discomfort. "Is that why you were late?"

Meredith clenched her jaw, trying not to let it show just how much this was affecting her. “No, I mean. I should have made my intentions more clear. I guess I just thought that…” She sighed and shook her head. “Never mind. Fun, okay. Yeah I can do just fun.”
image

"Yeah, fun." Dalis repeated trying not to sigh out loud at Meredith's expression on of disappointment or resentment on her face. Or was it both? "Can you do just fun, Mer? I don't want to make you do anything you don't want to do. Or aren't comfortable with if you're the type for relationships." Dalis went on, "I've done that before with someone and it doesn't end well when two people want different things."

Casey glanced around the bar. “Well, you’re welcome to stay here,” she said. “But if we get busy by some miracle, you’re the first person to go, got it?” She started wiping down the counter, knowing that they wouldn’t get busy. “Keep it in your pants,” she added, a smirk on her face. “Flirting is the quickest way to get your ass kicked out of here.”
Image
Jade nodded at the bartender. “So what’s your name then, so I don’t have to call you beautiful or any other pet names that you seem like you would be annoyed with?” The brunette asked blushing a bit at Casey’s last comments. “I don’t have anything to keep in my pants.” Jade slurred her words. She was the type of person who you had to spell things out for. She didn’t really get those kinds of sayings. “Right. No more flirting. Cross my fingers. Or whatever.” Jade mumbled. “So is it usually this dead in here?" The clearly older woman asked trying to change the subject so she wouldn't get kicked out.

“All to yourself huh? I like the sound of that very much.” This time she didn’t protest or question it when Yume leaned in and kissed her again. Just as magical as their first kiss only moments prior, June-Marie felt her stomach flutter. It felt nice to be this close, to have such a spark with someone. Especially someone like Yume. June knew the other girl was out of her league, and yet she wanted to kiss her all the same. “What took you so long to kiss me?” she asked when their kiss broke, a slight smirk on her lips.
image

After their second kiss was finished, Yume licked her lips tasting the other girl on them. God. Why did she wait so long to kiss June Marie? "I don't know what took me so long but there's clearly something wrong with me." Yume said grinning at June. "So uh, does this mean you would maybe want to go out on a date with me?" Yume asked stumbling a bit on her words, her Japanese accent showing a little as she did so. "It doesn't have to be tonight but maybe this weekend? Are you doing anything?"

Victoria stepped into the bathtub and settled between Dalis’ legs, resting against her chest. It felt just perfect and relaxing, a lot better than what she had imagined when first meeting the younger woman. “See? No more anything stopping you from getting what you want.” She gently stroked Dalis’ cheek and kissed her. “This is too perfect to be real,” Victoria whispered as she turned around to kiss Dalis again. “I have a feeling we might be spending the whole day in this apartment because you are so annoyingly charming. Maybe I will hate you just for that reason.”
Image

Dalis couldn't help but giggle softly when Victoria stroked her cheek and let her body melt into the other woman's. "Are you really saying that you think that I'm perfect Victoria?" Dalis asked cheekily, knowing full well that that wasn't the case. "I agree. This is pretty nice." She said trying to make sure that Victoria knew she'd been joking. "At least you do actually admit that I'm charming. When I want to be I can be. And I want to be charming for you. I like you." Dalis admitted shrugging her shoulders. "Maybe I was wrong to just peg you as a one night stand. Unless you don't do anything else except that. In which case, forget I said anything." Dalis said suddenly wanting to put her head underneath the water and disappear as she was feeling embarrassed for having said such a thing to someone she'd just had sex with. It wasn't usually her style.

Minah flicked the switch on her coffee pot  so it could start brewing the coffee for Brooke. “Alternatively, you could always get one of those…key hider things? And put a spare there. In case I am not home.” It was rather rare for Minah to be anywhere other than home outside of her normal working hours. “The philharmonic.” She spoke slowly, although it was more for her sake than Brooke’s, Minah tended to avoid saying philharmonic in conversation, the word more difficult for her to pronounce over others. “It will probably help ease your stomach more than adding dairy would too.”
image

Brooke watched as Minah made her coffee. "You know, you're really nice to do this for me." She said as she got more comfortable on the couch and nodded. "I think a key hider thing would probably be a good idea but I think I would be too scared that someone would find it easily and break in. Too many people coming and going." She went on still slightly slurring her words. "The philharmonic? Wow! That's super cool. It's got a great reputation." Brooke smiled at the other girl. "Plus, if you're not home I can just camp outside your door and wait for you." She giggled cheekily and made a cute face at Minah before closing her eyes to stop her sudden pounding headache. "Is the coffee going to be ready soon?" She asked pouting slightly in Minah's general direction.

Olive quirked an eyebrow, a smile toying at her lips, “do you even have to ask?” Of course she wanted a drink. “Just half though. Don’t wanna risk smelling like alcohol on the job.” Olive could hold her drink, but why risk it when she had to be professional and the face of an airline in just a few hours. Olive laughed, “right. Not that many. Should we do a head count?”
Image

"I just wanted to make sure, because I figured you'd be working." Zavier said pouring Olive half the glass she asked for and handed it to her. Once she was done pouring her own she clinked Olive's glass and then took a sip. "I save the good stuf for days like this." She admitted putting the drink down on the table. "Do not even think of doing a headacount, because then you'll just make me prove what a liar I am."

Okay, so Zavier did go out with a lot of students. Well, mostly slept with a lot of them. It wasn't her fault they just threw themselves at her. "Anyway, is there anyone in your life Olive?" Zavier asked raising her eyebrow curiously at her friend. "Tell me, tell me. Things have to be more sane and more adult on your end then they are on mine."
