anyways, there’s a difference between not wanting kids, not wanting to be around kids, and being a hateful little imp who creates a personality on hating a living creature on the basis that they need care, attention, and are not capable of expressing themselves in a way that would make that care and attention a little easier. it’s not cute, it’s not funny, and it directly affects the way children are treated, which affects how they view themselves as they grow up.

treating children as a burden is evil, point blank period. a child can never be a burden. they have no choice but to depend on their caretakers or they will die. if you don’t want to have the responsibility of taking care of a child, don’t fucking have kids. don’t agree to take care of someone else’s kids. don’t go places where kids are welcome and frequent. unlike them, you have a choice where you go, who you hang around, what you do in your day to day life.

children are experiencing the exact same world we are with absolutely no reference for what the heck is going on. to treat that as an imposition on others is an act of abuse, at the end of the day, and it definitely makes you a bad person.

stop adding “it’s okay to hate kids, just don’t be mean to them” onto posts like this. there is no good reason to hate kids. you need to get therapy if you hate children. it is not healthy to hate a group of people on the basis of “they need too much help”. that is a heartless, cruel way of thinking and you seriously need psychiatric assistance if that is how you are.

These times are hard. These times are cold. Our ancestors suffered much and hoped their grandchildren would not suffer more. Many lived and many left. They granted us wisdom to live a healthier life and provided us with history, so we can avoid unremitting the same mistakes. But we allegedly the “smartest” creatures to reside this land never learned. Yes, right now we can fly like a bird and communicate without sending one. Yet, the economy is a mess, pandemics are now worldwide, mother nature is seeking revenge…

We have so many common enemies and problems but humans still manage to start beef with each other.  Many do wish for world peace but who is ready to work towards it? Empty words never fueled change. These times might be hard. These times might be cold. No one can change the world, but we can change ourselves. Nonetheless, it’s never too late. So let’s be a tiny bit kinder. A tiny bit respectful. A tiny bit forgiving. A tiny bit understanding. Yes, we look, think and live differently. Still, we were born equal and were all the result of the same miracle of two cells uniting as one. We come into life the same way and leave all in death’s embrace. One of the most sagacious words to live by are: “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” ― Mahatma Gandhi.  Silence and indifference are no longer a choice when it results in other’s blood being spilled. It could have been YOUR blood they are stepping on if God decided to put you in the victims’ side. So what will you do and how will you live?

as much as the concept of Jesus being a fairly normal lad has its charms, im personally very intrigued by the idea of him being just… extremely weird. not even in a mystical sense, just…….staggeringly BIZZARRE.
