1. laughter. seeing or hearing laughter, knowing that someone is with their friends or spouse and knowing that for one inexplicable moment, they are truly happy. or just laughing myself. i love it

2. seeing sunsets/feeling a soft warm breeze. it makes me feel calm, like nature is pausing for a moment and is just stopping by to say hello

3. getting lost in a book so much that you forget about pages and your breathing quickens and the words become people and you are there and you see and you feel. usually this lasts for like a second, but its so precious, knowing that for just a moment in time, you were someplace else

4. all of you guys, and my friends! getting asks in my inbox, especially if people are just dropping in to say hi or are asking me something. its nice to know that people like having me around

5. when im standing on a low hill overlooking a long and flat plain, feeling the wind in my hair. it makes me feel powerful and unstoppable and free.
