INTRO

This network is a place for vegans, mainly to find other vegans on Tumblr.

RULES

  • Be a vegan with a Tumblr.
  • Don’t be an asshole.
  • Follow the network blog @thevegannet
  • Reblog this post and maybe this post.
  • Fill out this survey.
  • Follow at least some of the other network members.

YOU’LL GET

Hey folks! Please remember to fill out the survey so you can be put on the members page. It shouldn’t take more than a few minutes but that’s where the info I have is coming from. A ton of people have reblogged (especially the first post), but not many people have actually given their information.

this is such an old ask, but I was at Sephora the other day and got a sample of their foundation and DAMN its nice.

I have dry skin and told the person working that I wanted something natural looking and vegan, and she recommended it. I’ll probably buy it next time sephora has a sale ($40 is a little steep for me rn)

I recently had some blood work done that showed I was deficient in Vitamin D and low in iron, so I’m now taking more supplements. (Please note that you should consult your doctor before starting new vitamins.)

I’ve been using Jarrow B-12 for years and it keeps my B-12 up - the sublingual use and methylcobalamin formula have great absorption. I added vegan D3 (MRM has certified vegan vitamins!) and vegan iron as well.

I order them from iherb. Use that link or offer code SLZ664 for 5% off your first order!

Have any detangler , leave in conditioners ,serums and heat protector recommendations for long fine hair? I need new hair products after I finish all off older stuff.

I have short, thick hair, so I can’t really give product recommendations, but we have a hair section on our vegan brands list

In the US, at least, Giovanni and and Pacifica are fairly widely available and affordable with lots of options. (Pacifica is all vegan, Giovanni has a list of non-vegan products)

Any suggestions on vegan skin care. I currently am using either honey or coffee grounds mixed with coconut oil as an exfoliator. I want to switch to something vegan. I have fairly dry skin and get tiny skin colored bumps across my forehead and cheek bones. Brand suggestions or just household items that work well would be great!

I’m not a dermatologist, but I would discourage daily use of coffee and coconut oil on the face, since coffee grounds are a fairly harsh exfoliant and coconut oil is pretty comedogenic.
