Awwwww! And princess Hikari!

As Lauren is giving Blueghost a bath, Ignatius continues playing fetch with Pearlgrove in the front facade, as hippogryphs are quite fast. The three wolves, Darkrust (the rustic wolf), Triplecliff (the tricolored wolf), and Oceanmoon (The rustic yellow wolf), are given their monthlycheck up by the city's two vets, Serothia Gladebirch of the night elves, and her assistant, Selene Hawkheart, as the latter takes samples of blood from each wolf.

"The blood's color is good." Selene says. "Triplecliff, Oceanmoon, and Darkrust are in fine shape and are eating well."

"Yes they are." Maxwell says as he flicks his upper back length brown hair backward. "Since they were rescued as cubs from the wildlands in Drustvar and Tiragarde, within Kul Tiras."

"You and your family did well in raising these magnificent wolves. Which one is the leader?"

"Oceanmoon. He's always the first to greet my family and friends."

"Ah," Serothia says. "that's often the case of alpha wolves. In any case; Darkrust, Triplecliff, and Oceanmoon are in prime condition. Thank you for this check up, and see you next month.."

"Always a pleasure, ladies. Fare you well."

With that, Serothia and Selene make their way to the clinic with the required blood samples.

"Good wolves." Maxwell says. "Good boys. Very good job, good behavior too."

Maxwell gives each wolf a meaty pet treat as a reward for behaving themselves for the two vets, and they eat the treats in less than ten seconds after heading to the others. Now it is the turn of Ignatius' girlfriend, Velthynfria Dreamglade of the night elves, as she tosses the toy rope far enough that it lands ten millimeters close to the fence, and Pearlgrove runs toward the toy at break neck speed, retrieves it from the spot where it landed, and trots back to the others before dropping it in Ignatius' right hand.

As the wolves play with the little ones, Maxwell walks up to the others to supervise the games. Ignatius and Velthynfria continue playing fetch with Pearlgrove as Lauren is still giving Blueghost a bath. Kasumi is in the house helping Olivia and Derric wash the dishes from the breakfast they had recently eaten as Daniella is hard at work getting little Himari bottlefed. Outside, Ignatius and Velthynfria are still playing fetch with Pearlgrove.

"Who's next?" Ignatius eagerly calls. "Pearlgrove has enough strength to spare."

Himari cooed as she drank from her bottle.

She looked over at the other kids playing with the dragons

Ignatius holds the toy outward, winds his arm bacward, and tosses it over yonder toward the fence. Pearlgrove runs after the toy at neckbreak speed, picks it up from the ground, and trots back to the others before dropping the toy in Ignatius' left hand. Shortly afterward, after the feeding session is done, Daniella carefully carries little Himari over to the others, all the while helping her walk.

Little Himari was still learning how to walk on her shaky baby legs. “Baboo. Baboo.” She cooed

Daniella slowly and carefully continues helping Himari walk, eventually letting go so she can try and make the rest of the lesson herself.

"Be careful." Daniella says. "Don't fall."

Himari cooed as she tried to walk on her own, wobbling a bit

Daniella stays behind Himari as the walking lesson continues, making sure she does not lose footing. A few minutes later, Blueghost gallops to the others after a successful bath, with Lauren following suit.

"By the goddess!" Velthynfria says. "Blueghost is now as clean as ever."

"Yes." Lauren says. "It's a bit hard to wash every feather beause his wings are quite big. And- Daniella.. are you helping Himari walk?"

"Yes." Daniella replies. "One step at a time."

"As per the lesson." Ignatius says. "Still, it gladdens my heart to hear that Hikari has a little sister."

Ignatius ruffles Hikari's hair as Pearlgrove places his toy on the ground and sits on his haunches to catch his breath.

Hikari giggled as Ignatius ruffled her hair. “Hikari happy to be a big sistew!”

Himari cooed as she took tiny shaky steps

Now it is Velthynfria's turn to help Himari walk. However, she has to crouch her torso down because she is 7' 2" tall and 220 pounds. As night elves are a resilient and strong people, she manages to make sure Himari is walking properly.

"Please accept my apologies." Velthynfria says while realigning her long thick auburn hair. "It is rather unusual of me to tilt myself down."

"Don't worry, my darling." Ignatius says. "You are still a professional."

"I agree." Daniella says. "Helping others is good, even if it's a walking lesson."

Lauren nods as Velthynfria continues helping Himari walk.

Himari cooed as she continued to try and walk. She held her little hands out to the closest person.

It is Lauren who takes Himari's hands this time, and she manages to keep the toddler upright.

"Easy there, Himari." she says. "Slow down, one step at a time."

Everyone else nods as Kasumi makes her way from the kitchen to the front facade, her naval length brown hair flowing in the wind.

"It was a lot to clean up, dear." she says. "there were crumbs everywhere on Hikari's plate."

"You never can tell with toddlers." Maxwell says. "They always make the biggest messes... even during the annual Children's Week."

Kasumi nods as Lauren keeps up with helping Himari walk.

Himari cooed as she walked with Lauren.

“Chiwden’s week?” Hikari looked confused

Kasumi can see Hikari's confusion and walks over to her.

"You see, Hikari." she says. "Every late spring, orphanages hold this wholesome event, where heroes and adventurers take orphans on adventures of their own and accomplish tasks for them, making sure the rewards are worthwhile. However, as per the rules, the orphans have to be taken back to the orphange. Thankfully, the toys and pets are always a welcome sight."

The rest of the family give an affirming nod as Velthynfria takes another turn helping Himari walk, this time succeeding in keeping balanced, while giving her agreement with an affirming grunt.

“Ooooh!” Hikari smiled.

Now it is Ignatius' turn to supervise Himari's walking lesson, making sure no one in Ironstead interrupts her. Luckily, the citizens are still at their activicities, the merchants selling their goods, and workers still at their tasks, meaning the walking lesson is in good hands as the three wolves take a moment to groom themselves.

Himari cooed and tried to walk to Ignatius

Ignatius is quick to fall on one knee and extend his arms to give Himari a hug.

"I think that's enough of the walking lesson for now." he says before turning his attention to Hikari. "Hikari, I think Himari did quite a good effort in trying to walk, but it's best that she rest her legs for a while."

Ignatius ruffles Hikari and Himari's hair as everyone in the facade nods.

Hikari smiled and nodded.

Himari cooed and made it to Ignatius’s arms

Ignatius wraps his arms around Himari and hugs her in a gentle, tender way before letting her down. Then, a shed eagle feather falls from a tree and lands on his right ear.

"Wha?" he says. "Where did this feather come from?"

Velthynfria takes the feather off of Ignatius' right ear and places it in her bag with a smile. Daniella scoops Himari in her arms and gently rocks her to sleep.

"Vincent has yet to arrive." Velthynfria says. "Has he not witten, my love?"

"Yesterday, dear." Ignatius says. "He wrote to me that he would be taking Iceoak, Nickelgrove, and Pinestream on a hunt in Kun-Lai to harvest meat from the mushan and the wild yaks. He should be home soon."

A fierce roarbark is heard from the distance.

"That was Iceoak." Lauren says. "I know that roar. It is him!"

"That means Vincent has indeed come home from the hunt. And he's also written in the letter that he's bringing his sisters - Yvonna, Michelle, Gwendolyn, and Kathleen - with him!"

Indeed he has! Vincent and Ellthranviel are mounted on the back a brown horse, with Kathleen in between. Behind them are three girls: a mage and two paladins, both mounted on respectively a palomino stallion and two chargers. The mage - Yvonna Christine Bronzeheart - has brown eyes, medium skin, andnaval length chocolate brown hair; The older paladin - Michelle Xandra Bronzeheart - has green eyes, medium skin, and chest length golden blonde hair. The younger paladin - Gwendolyn Viviana Bronzeheart - has brown eyes, medium skin, and waist length blonde hair. Behind them are their pets; Goldendream, Peartwig, Flowerbranch, Zincplume, and Nimbustalon whom our heroes are familiar with; a dark grey Silvermane worg (Magnolupus dirus dirus), a Spearfang saberworg (Lupogladius cryodontus atrox), and a Pinerock sabercat (Tyrannofelis grandis sylvus).

"Captain Oberman!" Vincent calls with a salute.

"Captain Bronzeheart!" Ignatius replies with a salute of his own.

The Bronzehearts and Ellthranviel take a moment to put their horses in the stable and then head over to the Oberman house, with their eight pets following suit.

"Vincent, Ellthranviel, Yvonna, Michelle, Gwendolyn, Kathleen. How did the hunt go?"

"It went really well." Vincent replies. "We scored about thirty wild yaks and twenty-five mushan in less than a week.. a good enough number to keep the populace of both species stable, don't you think?"

"I agree. More than enough yak for our lunch today."

Everyone nods.

Himari yawned and fell asleep in daniella’s arms. But the roar from iceoak woke her up and she started crying

The kids tried to help her calm down.

Daniella rocks Himari gently.

"It's ok, Himari." she says. "Kathleen told me that Iceoak is stated to be the confident one. He's a good saberworg."

Mika nods as the dark grey worg gives the saberworg a talking to via growling.

"Agreed." Kathleen says. "It's always Nickelgrove who has to scold Iceoak every time, even though worgs can't talk."

Ignatius and Vincent both chuckle heartily.

Himari kept crying, scared of the saberworg

It does not take long for Iceoak to walk up to Himari, inspect her for a moment using his nose, and then lick her on the face before stepping backward, displaying his usually friendly persona. Afterward, Daniella pats Himari on the upper back, hoping to help her burp or belch.

"It's alright, Himari." she says. "Don't be afraid."

Himari cooed as Iceoak licked her face. When her back was patted, she let out a small burp

Daniella places Himari on the ground.

"See, Himari?" she says. "There is nothing to be afraid of. I bet your mother would agree with us."

Everyone nods as Vincent strokes Nickelgrove and Iceoak each behind their ears and is the first to walk up to Himari and fall on one knee to her level."

"Great Terenas' soul." Vincent softly says. "Hello there, little berry bunch. I am Vincent Karlton Bronzeheart II. It's a pleasure to meet you in person."

Vincent ruffles Himari's hair.

Himari cooed and giggled as Vincent ruffled her hair. She tried to get up and walk to him

Vincent spreads his arms wide for Himari to try and hug him, being mindful of the fact that she is only one and small. His sisters watch with wonder, as does Ellthranviel. Everyone else is watching.

She cooed and reached out to him as she took small steps. She landed in Vincent’s arms

Vincent wraps his arms around Himari and rises on his feet.

"Good work, little berry bunch." he says. "You're still learning, but that is a good thing. Hikari is truly a big sister now."

Yvonna turns her attention to Himari.

"Hello there, sweetie pie." she says. "I am Yvonna. Yvonna Christine Bronzeheart. Good to meet you."

It is Michelle's turn to see Himari.

"Hi, little dear." Michelle says. "I am Michelle Xandra Bronzeheart. So honored to meet you."

Gwendolyn's turn is now.

"Oh, hello there, little berry." Gwendolyn says. "I am Gwendolyn Viviana Bronzeheart. I am glad to meet you."

Kathleen has her turn.

"Why hello there, Himari." Kathleen says. "I'm Kathleen Trista Bronzeheart. Good to meet someone new."

And lastly, it is Ellthranviel who gets her turn.

"Oh, little, little friend." the night elven priestess says. "Aren't you the happiest little toddler there ever was? It is I, Ellthranviel Violetglaive of the kaldorei - the night elves. My honor to meet you."

Everyone nods as Ignatius hoists Hikari and Mizuki off the ground and places them both on his shoulders to give them a better vantage point.

Himari whimpered and felt overwhelmed by all the new people.

Hikari and Mizuki giggled as they were put on Ignatius’s shoulder.

Vincent can see that Himari is a bit uneasy.

"It's alright, little berry bunch." he says. "These are my four sisters - Yvonna, Michelle, Gwendolyn, and Kathleen. And right here is my beloved girlfriend, Ellthranviel."

All five of the girls stroke Himari's hair as the others nod, while the animals keep watch for anyone foolish enough to interfere with the greeting.

Himari cooed a bit as they petted her. She giggled happily

Michelle grins happily.

"Glad she is a cute sweetie." she says. "I think it's time for me, Yvonna, and Gwendolyn to say hello to Hikari next."

With that, Michelle, Yvonna, and Gwendolyn walk up to Hikari, being careful not to spook Himari.

"Which reminds me;" Yvonna says. "Where is Hikari's mother, Hotaru?"

"She is currently still in Ravenmore helping Walbrydge and Sayuri unloading supplies from Mariana's hunt." Ignatius says. "We need not worry. We'll get to see her later, as Vitani requested that we babysit Hikari, Himari, and Mizuki for a while."

"Fair point." Vincent says while relaying Himari to Daniella. "A necessary task."

"I agree." Ellthranviel says while flipping her long dark magenta hair backward. "I have faith that you can handle the babysitting duties alongside us."

Ellthranviel gives Vincent a loving kiss to the cheek.

Hikari smiled and waved to the ladies. “Hewwo!”

Himari cooed and reached for her big sister

Daniella places Himari on the grass, but then Velthynfria realizes something;

"By the Goddess!" she exclaims. "We initially thought Hikari's uncle Hideki would be at Dragonridge City, but when I last saw him, he was heading to the Silvercrest Playhouse to help with Horace's patrol schedule."

Ignatius covers his face in his left hand.

"I knew we made a mistake." he guiltily says. "But we did not know it at the time. We promised to let him watch Himari try to walk, but Captain Smolderforge, from orders from Lord Abercyrion Silvercrest, requested that he help Horace patrol the theatre for a while."

"Darn!" Lauren exclaims while polishing her greatsword. "We messed it up big time."

"I have to agree with you, Lauren." Daniella says. "What a way to unintentionally forget."

"We all make mistakes." Vincent says. "The scar over my left eye was from a minor accident, but it was a small lesson I needed to learn after the wound was cleaned."

Yvonna, Ellthranviel, Kathleen, Gwendolyn, and Michelle all nod, as do their nine animals.

"You are right." Velthynfria says while kissing Ignatius on the cheek. I'll see if I can bring Hideki over. Hikari, Mizuki, you stay here. I will be right back. Do not worry; I can handle myself without hesitation."

Velthynfria picks her poleaxe up from the ground and makes her way to the theatre, making sure to keep an eye out for anyone foolish enough to steal from the citizens, while her long thick shaggy auburn hair flows in the wind. And by the time she reaches the theatre, Horace Franklin Crestridge is already on patrol, all the while showing Hideki Hoshino the entire complex;

".. And lastly." he Horace says. '"Here we have the ticket booth, where tickets are to be passed to attendants after purchase. Ironstead is a city of sports and performing arts because, two centuries ago, Albecyrion Silvercrest, the lord of the Silvercrest high elves, erected the playhouse in this very spot, three meters from just two blocks from the southern gates."

Behind Horace, a solid white common sabercat, an adult male, can be heard expressing his agreement with a growl. Horace gives the big cat a scratch behind the ears while brushing his goatee.

"That is most certainly right, Frostgrain. Yet you, Corporal Hoshino, already know the basics of playhouses everywhere except Karazhan.. ugh, I hate that tower! However, there might be anyone foolish enough to interrupt the performances being held here in the theatre, so as Grand Captain of the Eigth Junior Division in the Dragonheart Crusade, I am in charge of the Eighth Junior Division, but it's also my job to protect the complex. It may be a simple task, given my history of fighting the threats of the Alliance, but it's a task Lord Silvercrest wants done daily. Understand?"

Hideki nodded as he was shown through the complex. “I suppose so. Anything to keep my girls safe.”

He then gasped when he realized something. “My girls! I was supposed to watch Himari take her first steps!”

Horace soon realizes the totality of his mistake himself.

"Dang." he says. "I should have known earlier."

Velthynfria walks up to Horace and Hideki.

"Do not worry, Captain Crestridge." she says. "Ishnu-alah. I came here to pick Hideki up and take him to Ignatius' house."

"Ah. Captain Dreamglade. Kwa heshima ya joka. I was showing Corporal Hoshino around the theatre."

"An honorable thought. But it's time I bring him to the Oberman household because he has to watch Himari walk."

Horace smacks himself on the forehead in his shield.

"Ugh! I knew I made a mistake earlier! Why did Cynthia or Brianna not remind me of this beforehand?!"

"Calm yourself, Captain Crestridge. You did not know."

Horace rubs his forehead as Frostgrain licks him and Hideki each on the face

"You're right, Captain Dreamglade. I didn't know. Now I do. You'd best get to Ignatius' house right away, Corporal Hoshino. You do not want to see the toddler try to walk."

With that, Horace wipes his face clean with a piece of linen cloth and resumes his patrol with Frostgrain following alongside him, as Velthynfria escorts Hideki from the theatre to the Oberhelman mansion's front facade, where The Oberhelmans, the Bronzehearts, and Ellthranviel are supervising Himari's attempts at walking.

“Thank you, sir.” He smiled and went to Ignatius’s house

By the time Velthynfria arrives at the front facade with Hideki in tow, the lesson in walking has gone on quite well. Even the animals are watching, even as Iceoak tries to hog Nickelgrove's spot in the gathering.

"Nice work thus far, Himari." Daniella gently says. "And look. Hideki's here. Go to him."

Daniella gently turns Himari around so that her eyes meet Hideki's. Everyone in the facade, animals included, watches eagerly.

Himari cooed and giggled as she tried to walk to Hideki.

“That’s it, baby girl! You can do it! Come to me!” He knelt down and held his arms out for her

Raiden sighed and read the butterfly information. “Butterflies are hatched from a….what’s this word?”

“Um……poo-ba?” Haru says, trying to read the word Pupa but failing

“Poopa?” He chuckled

“That’s what it wooks wike it says!” Haru says as she blushes. “I’m twying my best!”

“Hah! Butterflies come from poopas!”

“Okie, wet’s keep weading! I wanna wearn!” Haru says. As she’s struggling to read, Hikari and Michi come over to them and look at the plaque too.

Hikari and Michi tried to read the plaque but it had a lot of big words.

I check my phone and notice that there’s gonna an event for kids at the planetarium part of the museum soon. “Hey, are you kids done playing with the butterflies? Do you wanna go learn about space stuff?”

“Finally, something cool!” Raiden smiled and raced to the planetarium

“Hey Raiden! Wait up!” Haru says as she runs after him.

I roll my eyes and calmly walk with Michi and Hikari to catch up to Haru and Raiden. “They’re like this every day at school too right?”

The two nodded as they held Cali’s hands.

Eventually, I catch up to Haru and Raiden. “Can you two please not run away. This place is really big and I don’t want you to get lost.”

“Kay.” Raiden said

“Sowwy, I’m just weawwy excited!!” Haru says happily.

I begin leading the kids to the planetarium and Michi begins asking me a bunch of questions since he doesn’t really know what’s going on.

“What’s a pane tay um?”

“Oh it’s like a place to learn about space stuff and look at the starts, it’s really cool.” I tell Michi as I walk with the kids.

“Ooooh! Panets!” He smiled and pretended to walk like a space man

We arrive at the planetarium and it’s full of children around Hikari and Haru’s age since the event is for kids. We sit down together and Haru, Hikari and Raiden look really excited.

Michi smiled and sat on Cali’s lap so he could see

The presentation begins as a nice employee begins talking about the solar system and planets. While she speaks, the big screen behind her shows super cool pictures of whatever topic she is talking about. Haru, Hikari and Raiden are listening intently and Michi is doing his best to pay attention but some of the info is a little too complicated for him.

The presentation ends and the kids clap.

“That was so coow!!” Haru says loudly.

“I loved the meteors! Can you imagine giant fiery rocks falling from the sky?”

“It’s so coow! It’s wike wain but on fiwe!! Hikari, what was youw favowite thing?!” Haru asks.

“Hikari wike the staw pictuwes! The cons-conse-….”

“Constellations is the word you’re looking for Hikari.” I say as we walk to the dinosaur section.

“Michi?! Did you wike it?” Haru asks.

Michi.exe stopped working.

“Um Michi? Awe you oki?” Haru asks as she holds his tiny hand.

“I think his 2 year old brain got overloaded.

“It did? But it wasn’t that compwicated.” Haru says as she looks at Michi, who’s brain is finally starting to recover.

“I otay.” He smiled

“Yay! What was youw favowite pawt Michi?” Haru asks now that he’s back to normal.

“The pwanets! Satuwn’s so coow!”

“Yeah! The wings awe weawwy pwetty!” Haru says as she walks with Michi. Eventually the kids arrive at the part of the museum with all the dinosaur stuff. Raiden and Haru’s eyes light up.

Michi’s eyes lit up as well while Hikari looked terrified

“Hey Hikari, what’s wrong?” I ask as I see her shaking.

“They wook scawy!”

“I mean yeah but they can’t hurt you. They’re just skeletons. Do you wanna hold onto me while we walk around.” I ask.

Meanwhile Haru, Raiden and Michi were trying to read about the T-Rex and they were all failing.

“The t-rex is called a t-teeeran….ti-ran….”

“Um…what the heck does that even say! These wowds awe too big!” Haru says as she pouts and stamps her foot in frustration.

“Tee-ty-ran-sair?” Raiden was about to blue screen

“I think that’s wight!” Haru says happily as they continue to read

Me and Hikari walk over to them and i laugh a bit at how Raiden is pronouncing the words. “What are you three trying to read?”

“The name for the t-rex!”

“Oh, tyrannosaur Rex. That’s what it says.” I say as I read the plaque to the kids. Haru hugs me as I read.

“Thank you! We’we wewe stuck.” Haru says.

Raiden chuckled

“Alright so we’re gonna look around a little bit longer then we’re gonna go grab lunch somewhere ok?”

The kids smiled as they looked at more cool dinosaurs

“Hikari wook! They have a kitty fwom dino times!” Haru says as she points to the sculpture of a sabertooth tiger.

“Ooooh!”

“It wooks fwuffy but its teeth awe weawwy scawy…” Haru says as she looks at the sculpture. Meanwhile Michi and Raiden are trying to look for other cool dinosaurs. Raiden attempts to read the information plaques to Michi as they look.

“The sab-er tooth tiger is one of the most com-on fossils found in the la-la b-br-…”

Haru smiles as he reads. “You’we so good at this!” She says as she holds his hand and blushes.

He blushed as well

“Hey Haru, you’re gonna wanna see this.” I say as I point to a massive prehistoric shark skeleton.

“Oh my gosh! Dino shark!” Haru says as she sprints over to the display.

“Cool!” He smiled

Haru picks up Michi so he can see too. “Wook Michi! Big shark!” She says happily. Haru is super excited seeing a giant shark skeleton like this. Her imagination was running wild picturing what it looked like when it was alive.

Michi cooed and giggled. “Big!”

“I wove sharks so much!!” Haru says as she bounces up and down.

“Trust me Haru…we know.” I say as I laugh a bit. Michi is now pretending to be a shark and it’s very cute. Hikari and Raiden just look at Haru and are slightly concerned

“Rawr!” Michi giggled

Haru decides to play along with Michi and it’s very cute. I walk over and pick up Michi. “Alright, calm down you two. We’re leaving for lunch now. Hikari and Raiden said they’re really hungry.”

Michi playfully nommed on Cali. “Shawk hungy!”

We head out of the museum and back out into the city. “I’m gonna let Hikari pick where we should go. There’s like four million restaurants in literally any direction so we can just walk and find somewhere that looks cool.”

“Hm….” Hikari looked around for a closest restaurant. She pointed to the black tap. Which had crazy shakes

“Oooh that wooks good!” Haru says as she runs ahead and stands at the door of the restaurant.

I catch up to her and walk inside with the kids. “Alright, you’re all allowed to get whatever you want, just don’t eat wayyy too much since we have that fancy dinner boat trip around the city tonight remember.”

“Im gonna get that big burger and a chocolate crazy shake!” Raiden smiled

“Mhm! I wanna get the same thing!” Haru says happily. They were both completely ignoring what Cali said.

“Really…” I say as I sigh.
