the older i get and the closer i am to reaching 30, the more the people around me try to deny me my age. it’s a constant ‘oh you’re just turning 29 again teehee 🤭’ or ‘dont tell your SO that, he’ll leave you for a younger model 😉’ and i just???? hate it?????????

i spent my entire teenaged years fighting for my life. i crawled through the deepest pits of my depression to cling to the promise of a life beyond that pain. i was so convinced that i was going to die young, that i would never see the grace of my age starting with a 2, let alone 3.

so im going to turn 30, and there’s not a damn thing anyone can do to stop me from loving it.

Being in my thirties is honestly one of the best things that ever happened to me. I think more younger people need to realize that not everyone hates not being Very Young.

I’m more experienced, more confident, happier, fitter, more powerful, and enjoy life more now than ever.

gimme your tips for kiss scenes? <3?

For a soft sweet scene, draw out either the before or the after of the kiss. Slowing down before in the writing and pointing out the details will build tension and those details can be very sweet as they show the characters focus too. Are they staring deeply into the other's eyes or are they very interested in the hole on their sweater so they can avert their eyes and blush? Things like that. If the kiss happens when one character is off guard then dwelling on the feelings after the kiss can have the same effect. Are they drawn to the tingle now on their lips from the contact or are they busy staring at how the one who kissed them smeared their lipstick somehow and it takes their brain a minute to catch up? You wanna sit with your characters and really let the emotions seep in. I hope this helps!
