“come on y/n why won’t you just-just, move in with me already?” tom questioned, throwing his arms around in frustration.

and as much as you wanted to take your boyfriend seriously, you could hardly hold back your laughter as you mentally compared him to the blow ups in front of many car dealerships.

“besides, you basically already live with me. you live across the hall. you’re always here. hell y/n, you even bought another set of your skincare products so you didn’t have to keep dragging them back and forth from your place to mine.”

“exactly like you said tommy. i basically already live with you, so why go through the hassle of moving all my stuff when i can just walk across the hall and grab it when i need it?

“and say things go bad between us and we break-up. i doubt you would want me still living here, and homeless is the last thing i wanna be.” you finished, popping a grape into your mouth.

“you know i wouldn’t let things get bad between us. or let you be homeless.” tom grumbled, finally ending his(what seemed like endless) pacing and plopping down on the couch.

you set your grapes down on the counter beside you before making your way to tom.

“tom” you sighed “i know you won’t. i’m just-just not ready to sell my apartment. it was the first place I could call mine, it’s been with me longer than you have.” you teased, feeling accomplished when the small frown that was just on his face was now replaced with a smile.

“and when im ready to move, i’ll tell you the second that thought pops up in my mind.” you promised, turning around to face him, not missing the mischievous glint that lingered in his eyes.

“you know i love you, right?” you asked, placing a small kiss on his forehead.

“course i do baby.” he said, kissing you softly.

you couldn’t help but lean into his embrace, loving nothing more than being wrapped up in tom’s arms.
