“Well the woods do not frighten me as they do the rest of the village.” Red spoke, shifting her basket from one arm to the other. “All the stories are just that, stories. So, being afraid of a cluster of trees seems rather silly, don’t you agree?”
“You really have nothing to fear from those trees, it isn’t a full moon tonight.” Raymond chuckled, “It should be a waxing crescent.” Of course, it was a lie wolves can only turn on full moons. They were more dangerous of course, but they could shift when needed but that wasn’t a story anyone wanted to get around.

Vergil was standing there over the corpse of a girl as he investigated to see if she was still alive, she had two puncture wounds on her neck, work of a vampire and she was dead, and judging by the temperature of the body she had been dead for a few hours. That’s when he felt someone watching him and he stood up.
“I suggest you find some other entertainment, unless you’re the punk ass vampire that killed this girl then I wouldn’t go far, because you’re screwed”
Evangeline had been tracking a vampire that had crossed into her family’s territory for the past several miles. Only to have her trail end with a dead body and a man standing over it. Her feet bare and a jacket bunched over her shoulders as she stepped out into the clearing. “One, not a vampire, and two, kind of offended you’d think I’d be stupid enough if I was to return to the scene of a crime I committed.”
