That’s all it takes. Clarisse rolls out of bed, pulling on the clothes still laying on her floor, groggy from waking but spurred forward by the ferociously bubbling excitement in her chest. She grabs her keys and swings her leg out of the window, well-practiced, even while she swears and contorts over awkwardly to fit her body through.
