I feel kinda bad because I haven’t been on here much at all. It’s quite tiring I find to maintain and curate a blog. I’m a lot more active on twitter (same username) and i do genuinely like talking to people.

Im trying to write my thesis now and it’s just... not happening how I want it. But I’m going on vacation in a couple of days so that’s good.

PASTA JAR LIFE HACK

Do you ever try to scrape the last of the pasta sauce from the jar? Today, I figured out a solution: make pasta, put it in the jar, screw the lid back on, then shake the jar.

It’s a great way to minimise waste and make sure the sauce is evenly distributed. You can even eat the pasta right out of the jar, which eliminates the need for a bowl—one less item to wash up! If you’re really into that sustainable lifestyle, you can rinse the jar out when you’re done and keep it as a drinking glass.

The amount of pasta I made was too much to all fit in the jar at once so I did it again and managed to eat all the sauce in the process. This is the jar after I was done eating:

Here are some of my most favourite funny fics! We all need a dose of crack every now and then. 

Effective Human Copulation: A Study  Author: Supreme_Leader_Snoke Rating: T+ Summary: An observational study of human mating rituals and how to influence them. Test subjects: Kylo Ren and General Hux. Comments: Written as a legitimate study with Snoke as a hilariously clueless researcher, this fic is a delight. A highly original take on the “Snoke Ships It” trope. All Around My Hat Author: Anorlost Rating: M Summary: Kylo thinks stealing Hux's hat in front of all of his subordinates will be a pretty hilarious prank. Nobody else seems to think so. Comments: This fic made me laugh until my sides hurt. It’s truly excellent and I cannot recommend it enough. 

What A Thing To Misplace Author: GenerallyHuxurious Rating: E Summary: Kylo Ren wanted to become one with the Dark Side. So he used the Force to literally remove carnal distractions from his life. Meanwhile Hux finds a very realistic, very responsive, dildo hidden in a closet.Of course General Armitage "Sex Toy Connoisseur" Hux puts it to good use. Comments: This fic is brilliant! Absolutely smashing! Moral of the story: don’t leave your valuables unattended.  

Master Chef Author: degreesofinsanity Rating: T+ Summary: It's their first anniversary and Hux cooks for Kylo. Kylo just wants death to claim him. Comments: This fic is so great you guys!!! It’s just the right amount of silly. I don’t know what’s worse, Hux’s cooking skills or his pun-making. Read it, and decide for yourself! 

Merry Huxmas Author: Gefionne & nookienostradamus / @gefionne  & @nookienostradamus Rating: E Summary: Christmas is a silly thing—frivolous and unwarranted. Or so thinks General Armitage Hux. It takes the intervention of three strange but somehow familiar spirits—of past, present and future—to convince him both that it’s the most wonderful time of the year and that he needs to do some serious thinking about his relationship with Kylo Ren. Comments: I tried to quote the bits that made me laugh but that's the entire fic! Highlights include: Snoke on ice, a candy-cane euphemism, and a Hux deeply in denial. 

Down For The Count Author: limit_breakr Rating: T+ Summary: General Hux finds a new way to mess with Kylo Ren. Comments: Remember Aerobics Hux? Yeah! In which Kylo gets all hot and bothered by Hux’s cool-down routine. Gorgeous In General Author: epiclifeinruins Rating: Not Rated Summary: Where General Hux wears his full dress uniform and leaves the entire crew of the Finalizer swooning. Including Kylo Ren. Comments: If you’ve ever had a need to read about excessively handsome Hux, this is the fic. Idk about you, but I relate deeply to everyone who lays eyes upon him here. 

Anyone But You Author: thethirstorder / @thethirstorder Rating: E Summary: Phasma and Hux have a bet when Hux says he can get anyone in bed. She says Ren of course, and Hux begrudgingly accepts the challenge. Comments: Yep, I’m reccing my own fic because I’m trash. Honestly I’m pretty proud of this one. Just watch out for a few feelings near the end.
