Completely disregarding what Figaro castle looks like canonly because it looks different in my head, lol. I always felt like it should be more colorful and inviting.

Also for whatever reason Edgar having glasses is an image I latched onto in my mind. No idea where it came from or why it stuck with me.

For years, Edgar has been in the habit of getting up early and visiting the marketplace right before it opens. It’s the quietest time of the day when there aren’t many people about. He likes to walk around and browse.

This morning he spotted Terra in the distance with her shopping basket and strode over to greet her. She’s getting groceries for the day.

This is after the game when Terra has moved her Mobliz kids to a nice big apartment space in Figaro. You guys I have such a clear view of Figaro Castle in my head. It’s just my own headcanon but I want it to be real so bad. It’s sort of a fantasy version of the Alhambra in southern Spain. I want to live there 😩

Also pls enjoy the Timelapse video, I just learned my Clip Studio Paint can do this so I’m really enjoying that

I didn’t have anything planned for Mother’s Day but I saw the giant Mother’s Day card section while shopping and this idea popped into my head.

And when I saw THAT card (or the text, at least, I made the card so much worse)…. It wasn’t just an idea anymore I HAD to draw Sephiroth with it. It was a must.

Here’s the piece without the dark purple Multiply layer on top of everything

Oh man I had fun coloring this one. I started with a dark purple as the base layer and tried to choose the right colors by sight. None of the colors are what you expect them to be. It’s so confusing.

For a real shock, here’s the piece with the dark purple base layer removed
