Time for a giveaway! As some of you may know, the initial Pop and Suki heart that I received wasn’t exactly what I ordered. Their customer service was really great, they reprinted it correctly and sent it to me super fast, free of charge, and told me to keep the first one too.

Do you remember how Sam was a-okay with vampires when he had that one special vampire friend? Do you remember how Sam did a 180 and as soon as Dean went and got himself a special vampire friend? A friend who saved Dean’s life when Sam refused to and who was a better brother than Sam ever was.

Do you remember how much Sam hated Benny? Without good reason?

Do you remember how Sam had a one night stand with a werewolf girl? Do you remember how Sam identified with her and how much he felt for her? And now, Sam is saying “werewolves are different” to justify his double standards.

Sam’s crusade against vampires started after Benny, and Sam’s love-fest with werewolves started after Madison. Sam doesn’t have a strong moral core or a universal set of rules. Sam’s empathy is conditional and subjective. Which is why he finds certain monsters sympathetic and redeemable while condemning other equally redeemable monsters to certain death without any regret.

This is why Sam can say “all vampires must be eradicated” in one breath and say things like “Werewolves deserve a second chance” without even understanding the inherent double standards and hypocrisy in his thought process.

This is one reason I am not a big fan of Sam...
