Is it or isn’t it?!

So, few things to note; I have been told it’s very very likely it’s coronavirus that I have (whatever it is, I definitely got it when I took mum for a minor surgery we had no way of backing out of), but as the UK is practising self isolation if you get any of the three main symptoms, and/or if you’re in the vulnerable categories (old, chronic illness, immunosuppressed) I won’t get tested unless I get ‘worse’. Right now, my temp is back to normal, but I’m still experiencing breathing troubles and a cough. The breathing is like … having lungs full of tiny nails, feeling on fire and hard to get a full breath, there’s a dry itch in my throat and a wet heavy feeling at the base of my lungs. When I breathe I hear crackles/rales.

I am however feeling more energetic than I was. Which isn’t a bad thing.

It could take a while for a recovery from this, and I’m doing my best to stay warm and hydrated and calm so I can stop it from developing into something like pneumonia (third time is not the charm, twice in my life is enough thanks).
