During a tea party with Germain, Shakespeare was perusing Germain's collection of "out of time" books when he was suddenly startled by a wild Time leaping from the bookcase and knocking down several books. While picking up said books, one book in particular caught Shakespeare's attention. Ignoring the fact that there were more feathers and fur on it than could possibly have come from Time, Shakespeare borrowed the book and the next night presented an idea to Germain. That was how the ikemen vampire manor began weekly sessions of Dungeons and Dragons. Shakespeare (and Sebastian) present a Shakespearian DnD homebrew: Midsummer's Endless Nightmare The premise of the campaign is that the MDOTT goes haywire and transports the guys into an unknown land populated by fairies on the brink of civil war. One side is led by Oberon, the king of the fairies, and the other side is led by Titania, the queen of the fairies. The guys would be allowed to choose which side they wanted to help (first come first serve) with Sebastian being the GM for the Titania side and Shakespeare being the GM for the Oberon side. Arthur immediately chose Titania's side because "I have no interest in following a man's ass." Jean said he would choose whichever side Germain was not on. Theo wanted to be with Vincent, but Shakespeare had already decided that Vincent and Theo would be split up because of their character traits. Isaac did not want to be with Dazai or Arthur. Mozart wanted to go to his room. The teams ended up becoming: Group Shakespeare/Oberon - Vincent, Jean, Napoleon, Leo, Mozart Group Sebastian/Titania - Theo, Isaac, Dazai, Arthur, Germain The guys would be playing themselves but with Shakespearian DnD twists. Vincent - Capable of communicating with Theo via image based telepathy (he draws something and Lumiere was taught to deliver it, to Theo's dismay) Theo - Capable of communicating with Vincent via text based telepathy, but he has to give up a gold coin for each message (Sebastian hand delivers the message to Vincent). Is no longer in charge of the party gold. Jean - His character is cursed to hold his sword forever. This gives him a charisma penalty with fairy authorities and shopkeepers which he hates because he enjoys hearing about fairy weapons. Isaac - Cursed to drink from a fairy each game day or eat an apple in front of everyone to slate his character's bloodthirst. Napoleon - Once per long rest he has a chance of attracting a random fairy to run away from its family and fight at Napoleon's side. Napoleon must name said fairy. When the fairy dies (it only has 1 hit point), until Napoleon informs its family the party will have to fight a random number of fairy ghosts during each battle. Dazai - Takes damage every time he enters a door. Leo - Must roll a D20 every thirty minutes, on a roll of 20 his character falls into a magical slumber. He then rolls another D20, on a roll of 20 here his character sleepwalks and turns a random fairy into a fairy vampire. Arthur - Takes double damage from women and triple damage from nuns. (Yes, Shakespeare created fairy nuns.) Mozart - Can only use his character's skills while playing a kazoo Germain - Takes double damage from manor residents. Responsible for the first campaign lasting 15 minutes. During the first campaign, Germain was secretly the final boss, and the only people who know were he and the two GMs. Shakespeare after explaining everything to the group: Now what do you want to do? Germain: I smile at Jean. Jean: ....I stab Comte in the heart. With the sneak attack, critical roll, and Germain's character trait related to resident damage, the final boss was dead and the campaign was over. They decided to restart and Germain was not allowed to smile at Jean anymore.
