i am not a patient person. my tongue flits from topic to topic like a hummingbird and i am always in motion and my hands are always tap tap tapping away on the desk. but i will make my legs walk slow that only want to run when helping my grandfather across the street. and i will bounce forever on my tiptoes as my friend walks down the hall but i will stay in place impossible as it seems. and if you leave but promise with your whole soul that you'll be back i will live life in my own little way with the birds and the sun and when you get back i will say hello as if i just saw you yesterday and i will still bake the same brownies and infinity will have spun its tapestries of change in your hair and your face but i waited for you so its easier and its okay and i love you through all of it. yknow?
