A freezing family reunion (Closed Starter w/maidfaiire)

Who would have guessed that she would end up falling for her liege. And If it wasn’t enough, being blessed by 3 precious children. Even though her only regret on the matter was putting them into separate Deeprealms…But what was done is done…and the only thing Flora can do now is to spend the most time she can with her children and further their growth.

Still, Flora felt she could do more for Frey, Hyoga and Kana…so she decided to call them into her shared room with Corrin in the Private Quarters. It was a matter of time for her eldest daughter to come in, hoping that Hyoga and Kana would arrive soon as well.

“Welcome back dear. How was your day?” Flora asked with a warm smile as she aproached to her daughter for a hug.

Such a strange feeling, to at last be reunited with the woman Frey called mother. The woman she had idolized for so long, the woman that was practically Frey's Goddess. And now, to be greeted so warmly, and offered a hug as well! Oh her heart could barely take it.

And yet, Flora seemed so..Casual. As if this were a normal occurence. Standing before the other maid now, Frey bristled, unsure of how to approach this situation and nearly turning to flee. But her body decided otherwise, joints locking in place, she was unable to move. Now being held in an embrace, and cautiously..Returning it.

' I-It..It was well. I, uhm..H-How was YOUR day, m-..Mother? '

Today was a rather rare and special occurence, a day in which Frey had no duties or tasks assigned to her. A day off from her work. Though she had protested heavily against it, Kamui had insisted she take the day off due to the fact that she seemed to ‘never stop working’ and that her liege believed she 'needed a break’.

Frey would have pushed the matter but with threats of being forcibly locked in her own quarters if she did not comply, the maid had relented.

And now she wandered about the camp aimlessly, wondering how not being able to do what she enjoyed was supposed to be relaxing? Trapped in her own thoughts and very deeply so, she failed to notice the small rock in front of her. And so with her usual clumsy gusto, the maid tripped over said pebble, landing face first upon the ground.

Sickness sentence starters

  • Are you alright? You look really, really pale.
  • Come on, eat something! Why aren’t you eating?
  • You should be in bed with that fever.
  • Eat. More.
  • Put down that book and sleep.
  • You are not alright, I can see it.
  • Are you cold? I’ll bring some more blankets.
  • You should have told me that you had been feeling strange lately!
  • Let me take your temperature.
  • Rest, and by resting, I don’t mean reading all the books you possibly can while in bed.
  • It’s not just cough, you’re ill!
  • Stop saying that you’re fine if you are not!
  • Drink it, it’ll make you feel better.
  • No, you’re far too ill to go outside.
  • It will taste terrible, but it will make you better.

Dollhouse season one-- Sentence starters. || Accepting.

Frey paused, frost bitten hues flicking from the task at hand to stare at the man rather critically. Even so, criticism would always be accepted by the maid, it was necessary for improvement. And so, with a sigh, she turned to face him, her usual blank look settled upon her palette. Though accompanied by the smallest tilt of her head and glint of questioning shinning in her icy orbs.

❆||--❝ Then how exactly, would you have me go about it, sir? If I am lacking, advice on how to improve would be much appreciated. ❞

His offer was met with clear surprise by the maid, her grip upon the small weapon tightening. He seemed a very kind sort, however to impose her business upon him would be highly inappropriate for a maid of her caliber. Yet he acted so gung-ho about helping her...It made it almost painful for her to do what she did next.

With a deep bow, Frey spoke in a hushed tone, attempting to keep a blank slate of an expression as she rose back to her full height.

❆||--❝ Please forgive me, sir..But to force my work upon you would be highly rude and shameful towards my title and self..Your offer to help is much appreciated but it would be completely inappropriate...It is not my place as a maid to coerce others into helping me... ❞

Frey had never been one to cry easily, as such recovery was quick. Giving the smallest of sniffles, the petite girl sat up, rubbing at her nose and face before turning her eyes to where the woman had been standing before. But, she had disappeared! Startled, the tiny snowflake hopped to her feet, searching left and right for the missing woman, only to notice some five minutes later the gigantic hole in the ground by her feet.

Kneeling down, Frey stared over the edge of the pit and down into it, spotting the woman and giving a received sigh.

This sudden gesture of affection had not been expected, of course not unwelcome, but not expected. The maids usual pale completion flared scarlet with embarrassment, her hands flailing for a moment behind Hyoga's back as she attempted to figure out how to 'hug'. Though she eventually figured it out and wrapped her arms about her brother gently. A nervous smile on her face.
