An old doodle I liked and found in a lost tiny sketchbook.
The book actually got wet so the inks bled all over, but I like the effect :)

Hello~ Thank you so much for passing by our table at ANext!! Ahhhhh I really appreciate your kind words :D 💖
Realized I don’t really do sketches or studies as much as I used to, so getting back to basics.
@stephaniehov & I were having lots of fun in K town this day :)
I finished (?) you. Now I just need to figure out how to print you.

Hello everyone~
I share with you~my comic for the Dirty Diamonds #7: Imagination issue. I’ll forever say that it was an amazing opportunity & experience to contribute to this all female artists driven & overall incredible anthology~
This comic was based on idea of the power of imagination. Discovering the endless possibilities of your imagination can be life changing along with coming into contact with the creations of other people’s imagination. It was really fun trying to depict this. In my childhood, discovering how vast and wild my imagination could be was a vital changing point in my life. I learned how I could escape into my imagination and that was what led me to pick up drawing. And here we are today lol So this comic is mix of general storytelling mixed with own experiences of my ‘imagination awakening’.

Vacationing in Japan was such a precious experience. I had planned to draw alot out there, but with all the sightseeing & trying to soak every minute of it in that didn’t quite happen~🎐
I did manage to draw this little re-telling of an almost scary incident while going through the superrrrr busy Tokyo train station. I slowly fell in love with Kyoto & started sketching some highlights as I sat by the ever amazing & unforgettable kotatsu. The kotatsu hype is real.♨️
I was so excited to receive my copy of Dirty Diamonds #7: Imagination! It was an amazing opportunity to submit a 4 paged comic to this volume along with so many inspiring women (like @stephaniehov!!). It looks amazing & I highly encourage you all to buy your own copy too! Here’s a little preview of my comic which is on pages 31-34. Wow! It has to do with how the power of imagination can really inspire you~

Hello everyone!
I have an exciting update :) Over this summer I was presented with the opportunity to work on this book, When the rules aren’t right. It was a great learning experience. I got to work with a very dedicated team that included some fellow SVA graduates such as @madelinezuluaga and other very talented female artists!
This graphic novel revolved around a girl named Emma who gets to travel through different time periods learning about significant past events/struggles that have shaped the work force & envoirnments in past/present times, discovering the importance of change and activism.
For more information on this book visit: www.whentherulesarentright.com
You can pre-order your own copy: https://squareup.com/store/bardo
There will be some events revolving around the release of this book in Washington D.C and New York City.
Tomorrow 12/8/16 @madelinezuluaga, myself and Leslie Tolf (author) will be in D.C discussing more about working together on this project & more! Tomorrow we’ll be BARNES & NOBLE at The Catholic University of America625 Monroe St NE, Unit A3-A6, Washington, DC from 7 PM - 9 PM.
