Gabriel Reyes reached up from where he lay, to run fingers over coarse hairs covering his partner’s cheeks. There’s a smile on his face and a fond look in his eyes: he wouldn’t mock you over this if he did not think you could take it.
Jack on his turn rolls his eyes at the comment, absentmindedly running his hand through short strands of dark hair. The hair on his face isn’t a thick or proper beard by any stretch of the imagination. But the beginning of one is definitely there, and it’s his.
“Careful who you’re teasing. It might outshine yours one day.” Jack throws back with a hint of amusement ringing through, leaning over Gabe to press a kiss against his forehead.
