When shipping real people together, you have to tread carefully and most definitely respect them and their wishes. Enjoying H2OV@noss, or any real-world ship, in private is perfectly fine. If that line between fiction and reality is crossed that’s when problems arise and people can get hurt.
Maybe it’s simply my way of fandom thinking, but I’ve always been pro-shipping, or just pro-everything. Myself and literally anyone else loving something in fiction is okay, as long as it doesn’t cross that line into reality.
What happens in the fandom stays in the fandom.
