Gonna get a wee personal

Hi guys. I’ve been iffy about mentioning this because it’s a little bit sensitive for me—and I haven’t really been sure how to go about it—but it’s important. I don’t really talk much about myself on tumblr, but I’m getting worried and need help. 

I’ve been struggling financially. I haven’t gotten calls for jobs so I can’t help support my parents in keeping the house, and I can’t afford treatment for my mental illnesses either. I finally got myself diagnosed 2 years ago for depression and anxiety, but I couldn’t afford to keep getting medication while still paying rent and school tuition on student loans. Because of how my depression has affected me, my first two years in college were horrible and I couldn’t manage myself or my schoolwork. I’m not sure if I’ll be eligible for another student loan next year because of how I’ve been dealing.

I’m starting to save up for the next school year and maybe start therapy so I can get better, but I don’t want to ask my parents for help in affording this because they have struggles of their own I’m incapable of helping with. I just want to ease their worries a bit, at least where I’m involved, and if it seems like I have some sort of balance in my life, it won’t be so bad for them. 

I feel so weird about asking this, but if you can and desire to, will you help a student artist out?
