Coming back to bless your dashes with Artbreeder Vel fresh off the press!! She looks so great and I honestly didn’t expect it to come out this good but, well... Varric better avert his eyes 👀 ☘️
guys!!! in regards to the shared WIP graphics from DA4 those are most likely corrupted deep mushrooms. it would explain the appearance, and the more organic feel to them. also, it looks like it’s situated in the deep roads so o.o
also, there’s a real life mushroom that looks just like that!
anyway, that’s just my interpretation :>
Someone suggested to Karin Weekes that the Red Lyrium looked more organic than crystalline, and her reply was, “Interesting observation.”
I think you’re on to something.
@himluv absolutely!! and it’s really interesting seeing as how red lyrium/the blight infects only living things, and yet mushrooms thrive on dead and decomposing matter... it’s like two different worlds.
