The Full Carnival Experience (G, 2.4k)
They walk for a few more minutes, and Harry can hear the carnival music in the distance as they get closer.
“Wait… Are you taking me to the carnival?” Luke asks, a grin on his face and his eyes lighting up in excitement. “Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner!” Harry says and pulls Luke in for a kiss in the middle of the sidewalk.
The sun is starting to set behind them, casting everything in a warm glow and the longer they walk, hand in hand, the closer they get to the sights and sounds of the carnival. The ferris wheel, where Harry fully intends to take them by the end of the night, and all of the classic games everyone knows are rigged but play anyway because it’s part of the experience.
