I managed to get an extension on my r*nt payment for December 5th and i am only $400 short on it. i have an interview this Friday 12/1/23 and hopefully i can land this job and start working that month. i would also appreciate help paying for a monthly bus pass for $85 to get to work, interviews and medical appointments.

Hi all!

I just spent some time confirming that this fundraiser is legitimate. This is being held for the medical bills and other related costs of Kinnan, Tahseen, and Hisham — the three Palestinian students who were shot this past weekend in Burlington Vermont.

Please consider sharing and contributing to their recovery!

hello i'm so absolutely sorry to post this but i need financial help. there are a few unforseen expenses that i had to pay out of my savings, on top of our monthly expenses (groceries + transpo + bills). my total money has now dwindled to Php5,700 (or $102 when converted) which won't be enough to survive until next week. even if i get paid on the 30th it'll have to go to the annual car insurance payment due on the first week of december, which will be barely enough. so yeah. really embarrassed to do this but if anyone could help in any way, it would be much, much appreciated. payp*l

His love for Gaza shone through in his photographs, seen in his steadfast portrayals of joy and beauty. Whimsical compositions by the sea depict young boys jumping and playing. In a series of works focused on his grandmother, a survivor of the 1948 Nakba who was displaced from her native village of Isdud, Arandas portrays her as a symbol of strength and perseverance in Gaza, zooming in on her weathered hands harvesting olives against deep fertile earth. Traces of personal and cultural histories can be seen in the crisp light of ripe olives and the details of intricate embroidery adorning her hanging dress.
“Where can I begin talking about Gaza and Palestine, and how can I begin when I know that I am the living dead? Everyone who writes about Palestine has prepared himself to be among the dead, but despite our prior knowledge of our fate when we write and write about this land, we do not stop or for a moment hesitate to inhale her love,” he reflected.

this is your thanksgiving reminder that the chinook tribe is still fighting for federal recognition, which means they are unable to access programs and resources. please take some time today to sign their petition and donate if you’re able to. and if you live in washington or oregon please write to your elected officials.

and another reminder that the quileute tribe (the very real tribe that was featured in twilight and received no compensation) is still located in a tsunami zone and is trying to move to higher ground. please consider donating.

the reason colonisers slaughtered buffalo to near extinction in america is consistent for why israel is bombing, uprooting and burning the olive trees in palestine. over 100 years later and the tactics for control and genocide are the same. tell me again about how america has learnt from it's past and people need to stop talking about it as they fund and support israel by once again making the oppressed out to be ruthless and an evil that needs to be stomped out. "savages" has become "terrorists" because history will repeat itself right in front of our eyes and those people who claim to be disgusted by that history will stand by and watch it happen again with pride.

why should palestinians have to leave behind their land because israel wont stop killing them. why should anyone have to leave behind their life and memories and sentimental value just because an aggressor is left unchallenged. please think this sentiment through and delete it from your thoughts. instead of blaming an oppressed people for living in a hostile land, ask who is making that land hostile to live in.

You need to learn about Palestine, Congo, Syria etc not only because it will make you a better leftist but because it will make you realize that our comfortable lifestyle was built by many deaths and displacements. It's imperative to know the reality you're living in.
