i recently learned about a predictive method for timing marriage. look at the planets that rule your 2nd, 7th, and 11th house. if these planets are all simultaneously transiting through either of these houses, this is a time when marriage is very likely.

for example: if you have capricorn on the cusp of the 2nd house, your 2nd house is ruled by saturn. with gemini on the cusp of the 7th house, this house is ruled by mercury. and if the 11th house is in scorpio, its ruler is pluto. if saturn and pluto are both transiting the 2nd house for a couple of years, for example, and then the fast-moving mercury travels through the 2nd, 7th, or 11th house, this can trigger a marriage timing.

How I feel when I talk to my friends about astrology

when will the venus signs ask “what are we?”

Aries Venus: they won’t. they’ll probably answer that they just wanna “live in the moment” 

Taurus Venus: after 2 weeks, probably during a romantic dinner date. they’re not afraid to talk about those things

Gemini Venus: also won’t. will probably be asked the question and won’t know what to say

Vertex, a turning point in your life

Usually can be found in the the 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th house. It symbolizes your destiny, a destiny which you cannot avoid. It activates usually during certain transits (so you better look up for a compared natal chart with transits) to see if actually vertex is conjunct any planet at this moment. It’s important to notice that mostly when the Sun or personal planets are involved in a conjunction with vertex, there could be something going on. But this depends a lot on where is placed your vertex, what are the aspects with the other planets related to this particular point and in which house and sign it is. For example: if your vertex at this exact moment is making a lot of aspects with a particular stellium that you have in your chart, it could mean that this is an important transit and there could be some strange stuff going on.

Looking for the Vertex in synastry is also important. If vertex is making aspects (conjunction) with someone else’s Sun, Moon, Ascendant, Venus or Mars it could mean this person is a fated lover, someone you’ll end up with inevitably. Or maybe, if this person is simply a friend, it could mean a profound and fated relationship. It means that you were destined to meet this person in a certain time of your life.

However, it’s not easy as it seems to notice the energy of this particular point during the transits. And the interpretation overall is hard.

When something happens under the vertex energy, you may achieve something really important that you wished for, but not in the way you used to think. It happens like a shocking event, a sudden epiphany, rather than something that you expected. 

It is important to know what are the effects of our own vertex in the natal chart. It could link how and where you’ll have more probabilities to “feel” this energy coming to you. 

I found around an interpretation of the houses in which it is placed, and of course the signs (the axis) related to this point. I’ll put it below:

“In the fifth/eleventh house axis, there could be a propensity to experience fateful romantic or creative encounters (fifth house) through contacts with friends or groups (eleventh house). In the sixth/twelfth house axis, the turning point, or spin out, could effect our day by day living, or our link between psyche and soma (sixth house) through contact with those in the helping professions, those less fortunate or through dreams and creative fantasies (twelfth house). In the seventh/first house axis, sudden epiphanies could radically effect socially significant partnerships (seventh house) through an experience of projecting ourselves out into the world (first house). In the eighth/second house axis, destiny may arrive in the form of an erotic encounter or intense research (eighth house) perpetrated by a desire for pleasure, security or peace (second house). The vertex/anti-vertex by sign can signify the way we may experience activation to this axis. Personally, I think the vertex is more useful in synastries rather than in the transits. Maybe it’s even better to look up a progressed chart, and then the transits rather than comparing a natal chart with the actual transits. Because overall every natal chart now and then changes, especially the moon.

This is my philosophy on synastry.  Take it or leave it what you may.  Moon to moon is the most important aspect end of story.  It how we feel secure and what we look for to feel comfortable which helps us feel supported in our efforts.

You can use derivative signs to see how the moon’s really get along together and if they make sense of your own needs.

Other Person’s Moon is 1st to your Moon (Moon conjunct Moon)

They are on the same wavelength, feel comfortable in the same way, react the same way and want the same things for emotional security. Good match. Maybe doesn’t leave enough room for improvement or seeing the world in new a scope which could be limiting at a future point.

Your moon being 1st from their moon of course makes your moon 1st from their. The feelings they have towards you are mutually received.  You are always someone they can go too for emotional support.

Other Person’s Moon is 2nd to your Moon (Moon inconjunct Moon)

Any place 2nd from itself is what is valued.  You can certainly value the other person’s needs and how they think.  The issue is your moon is 12th from their moon; they are simply at a loss and don’t feel the same connection to their own needs for security.
