my fave greek history story to tell is that of agnodice. like she noticed that women were dying a lot during childbirth so she went to egypt to study medicine in alexandria and was really fucking good but b/c it was illegal for women to be doctors in athens she had to pretend to be a man. and then the other doctors noticed that she was 10x better than them and accused her of seducing and sleeping with the women patients. like they brought her to court for this. and she just looked at them and these charges and stripped in front of everyone like “yeah. im not fucking your wives” and then they got so mad that a woman was better at their jobs then them that they tried to execute her but all her patients came to court and were like “are you fucking serious? she is the reason you have living children and a wife.” so they were shamed into changing the law and that is how women were given the right to practice medicine in athens

Yeah, this isn’t some Greek myth story about a hero or demigod or something, Agnodice was a real person who actually did this.

Crochet Bihyung and Biyoo! These two are originals. It was fun to come up with the pattern as I went, even if it was hard to figure out at times.

**EDIT**

Here’s my general pattern for Bihyung and Biyoo. These notes are what I took while making them and then cleaned up a bit. Take them with a grain of salt since they have not been proofread and feel free to make changes if you think something could be better!

  • Bernat Pipsqueak Whitey White yarn
  • Red Heart Soft Rose Blush yarn [any pink weight 4 yarn will work]
  • Big Twist Worsted Cream yarn [any golden/beige weight 4 yarn will work]
  • Black or brown fabric for toga
  • 3.5 mm crochet hook
  • 4 mm crochet hook
  • Polyfil or stuffing of your choice

Bihyung

**General notes**

I recommend pinning the various parts in place before sewing to get the look that you want. I’m afraid I don’t have much instruction for his toga. I used an old t-shirt and wrapped that around the body before sewing legs or arms on. I then trimmed the fabric to the length that looked appropriate.

You ever think about Yoo Joonghyuk looked close to his 0th turn self by the time Kim Dokja comes back? Except this time, he isn't starting his horrifying journey, but ending it? He started by wanting to seek out his beloved constellation Demon King of Salvation and ended it by finally finding him and keeping him by his side for real as his Life and Death Companion, the human Kim Dokja. It's all he wanted for literal lifetimes.

I mean. It was intentional for Sing Shong to mention that he looked more aged. They wanted to show the parallel, and boy oh boy is it always on my mind
