being obsessed w a piece of media is so scary. what if my mutuals see how insane i go about it and think oh i gotta check out what this is about and then think it sucks and kill me with rocks. what if they hate my favorite characters

Okay so I was practically on my way to Lollapalooza BR to see them this Sunday when this happened. I know it's too soon to tell, but feels like they won't recover from it and, though I am grateful for being able to see them live twice, ever since Lanegan died (and never being able to see him live) I have been feeling a terrible sense of dread that I should take each and every opportunity to enjoy what I like. I got my Lollapalooza ticket a few days after Lanegan passed and was really looking forward to this. I have absolutely no will to travel this weekend and I am willing to take the several-hundred-dollar hit. I'm at a loss of words, I literally cannot express how I feel right now.

Taylor was almost my favorite Foo (at times, he was, sorry Dave and Pat) so to me he was a huge part of the soul of the band. Rest in peace, my dear. May your work live on. You will be terribly missed.
