!! Flower Viewing Season is now open for preorder !!

FVS is a Touhou zine with over 30 artists and a writer contributing, featuring different characters and the beauty of the flower viewing season. The book is A5 (5.5 x 8.5in) perfect bound, and the pages are a high quality matte finish while the cover is a nice gloss.

I’ve been feeling incapable of producing anything good lately.

Honestly, I know self doubt is a problem that is common to many artists. I’ve gone through many bouts of it myself already, riding out each episode knowing that these feelings would surely pass.

But this time around, I feel absolutely paralyzed. I used to be able to finish pieces at a more regular pace. Now, though, every pen stroke seems loaded with self doubt. I’m constantly afraid of what people see when they look at my stuff. My biggest fear is being proud of something I made and not being aware that it might look ridiculous to other people (this usually happens when I look at my old art. Holy shit I was so bad back then lol).

I look at other artists and their ideas and creativity seem to come so naturally to them. Meanwhile, every time I make something I feel like I have to wring every drop of creativity from my body just to get a lineart down. And even then, it doesn’t come out nearly as good as I want it to.

So long story short, I’m super frustrated with my capabilities and I wish I could learn more and do more, faster. I should be doing much better.

A sneak peak of just a little bit of the art that will be featured in the Flower Viewing Season touhou zine!!!!! They’ll be available in a PDF and as a physical copy, along with several original pieces as merch!!!

Everyone involved has been working incredibly hard, and everything in this zine is exceptionally beautiful. I’m so excited myself to see it all wrap up and to show all of you. Please keep an eye open for when preorders open very soon! More previews to come. ✨🌸

I’m very happy that I was given the opportunity to work alongside some of the most talented artists in the community. It was my first time participating in a zine and it has been an amazing experience. Please consider getting a copy of the zine for yourself when the time comes. I’m extremely sorry for taking so long with your gift, work got in the way and all ; u ; but I was super happy to be given a chance to draw Doremy for you.
