I hate to bust your bubble bc you're REALLY putting a lot of great thought into it, but there's a pattern to those price numbers. I think the drinks menu prices are just copied from the cone prices, and the cone prices are the only thing that have some thought put in.

And considering a McDonald's cone used to be 0.75 when I was a kid in the 90s, maybe a little less, these prices DO look more like early aughts or 2010s, even for a mall (but not if the movie is supposed to be in a really high cost of living place. If it's Hurricane/St George, the CoL might not be that high). It's really a puzzle!

Yeah no I totally get that! And looking into the machines, it definitely seems like 2010s. I was just personally hoping it was set in the 80s lol

#y’all please ignore my Fnaf movie post#but I was researching bc those prices are LOW#so I was thinking it would be set in 80s or 90s#then i looked into the ice cream machine#and it’s a brand that appears to be veryyyyyy recent#like last ten years recent#and also the drink logos on that machine look very modern as wel#so I’m kinda upset thinking it’s gonna#be modern (but that also makes sense if Vanessa is in this since she’s in the modern story)#was looking forward to vintage stuff in this movie but i think if they were gonna do 80s#they wouldn’t skip over vintage ice cream#machines ya know?#fnaf movie#anyway

family appalled that their very quiet well behaved mature child who never caused any problems has grown up and turned out to have many many problems. more news at 8!

#family in disbelief that the child they constantly said could never date now has no idea how to date or even communicate to a crush#and will likely never get married because they never really had friends after all their friends began dating and only being around their SO#the special at 10!
