A MIND MAP ABOUT MIND-MAPPING

If you know me, you’d know that I am a highly visual person. I love learning from images and layouts, and my spatial intelligence is probably my strongest type of intelligence. Because of this, I often use mind maps to study, and so do a lot of other people. However, there are people who don’t really know how to make and utilize a mind map effectively. That’s what this post is for! Here’s how you can make your mind maps more effective and thus enable you to retain more information. (P.S. you might wanna zoom in)

By no means am I an expert in mind-mapping; these are just some habits I have when making a mind map that successfully does its job of helping me remember the topics I’m studying.

If you have any questions, feel free to drop an ask!

i don’t know if people outside of brazil are aware of this, but our country just decriminalized gay conversion therapy. basically, it is now 100% legal for therapists to treat homosexuality as a disease if they want to.

btw here are are some sources to read more about it (they’re all in portuguese): 1, 2, 3, 4.

we need more people talking about this on the media.

please reblog this, especially if you’re not brazilian.

How do you plan your language goals ? (I'm a beginner in german and around a2 in Swedish)

1. Set a time frame I decided to start with 2 month periods and from that I break it down weekly to more specific goals

2. See what you currently have going on in your language learningTake what you’re currently doing and put a deadline on it and make it a goal. If you’re reading a book or doing Duolingo for example, one of your goals could be to finish that book or do a certain amount of skills.

3. Skills you want to improve onIs there something in the language that you feel less good at? Make it one of your goals to improve on that! Some new aspect or grammar point you want to learn? Voilà that’s your goal!

4. Figure out how much you can do within your time frameFigure out how much time you can set aside for your goals. Set realistic (but mildly challenging) goals. If you read frequently it won’t be a problem to finish a book in a few weeks, but if you almost never read you might need several months, and that’s okay!

5. Be flexible! If you realize you have scheduled to much and won’t be able to finish it, just change it! Learning a language should be fun and the goals should work as a motivator to make you keep learning!I hope this answers your question and good luck with your learning!
