D.Gray Man 20 years anniversary

That's right, next 31 May 2024, D.Gray man will be 20 years old. As a celebration, I would like to do a fandom project : a redraw of the first chapter. Which mean, many artists coming together, drawing each a page of the first chapter in their own style.

The first chapter is about 55 pages long, that's a lot, so here's an interest check to see if the project would be possible !

Some things you may want to know if there is enough interest to begin the project :

UPDATE ON THE PROJECT

We were already enough for the first chapter (but if we're more, no worries, the whole first book is available to play with!) in 24h, way to show the fandom isn't dead, everyone! Seeing your excited tags, I'm more confident we can do this project and as such I began to create the tumblr, email, discord server and all that funny stuff necessary to make it work. So you can follow this shiny new blog! It'll be used only for this project and information for it. MODS: But! It's a big project! I saw some people were interested in helping to organize it, so please! Do! No need to be an artist for this one, if you're interested in participating in this project another way, here's your chances! Nobody need to know how to do it all, but if you're confident you can deal with some of the next issues, shoot me a PM : using excel/making tables, sending emails, checking on peoples, using twitter, running a discord server, using Google forms, etc… But even without that, the most important thing is communication! We will need a healthy dose of it to reach the end of this project.

CONTIBUTORS: Also, I saw some peoples worried about having enough time to participate. If all goes well, you would have at least 5 months to do your pages (from December to April) but if you feel like it wouldn't work anyway or you're not confident in your drawing level to do a whole page but still want to party with us, you could still do a little doodle we could all put together on a few pages at the end of the project.

I'm also thinking of a way for other non-artist fan to participate with us, but I don't have a good idea yet, maybe a few words on why DGM is important to us at the end of the book? If you have an idea, do not hesitate to send it my way!
