Thank you guys for all the hugs and support yesterday! Losing a pet can only be understood by people who have experienced a strong bond with an animal. It’s been really nice to hear from people who don’t think I’m crazy for mourning!

Anyone have tips for helping a pet deal with loss? My dog lost his brother, and he is bereft. He is barely picking his head up off the couch and not eating. It’s only been a day, so maybe he will rebound, but I don’t want my sadness to fuel his!

I'm afraid I don't have much experience with that. The kitty we lost had a sister but they pretty much ignored each other for the past decade lol (my one cat was such a diva sometimes). My only advice would be to just love on him... I believe together you can help heal each others hearts <3

I am sort of in a daze right now. My beloved CJ, best friend, living stuffed animal, guy who makes me worry my soulmate is a cat, died unexpectedly this morning. When the shock wears off, I’m gonna need to spend a lot of time in fic universes, hiding from the real world.

Aww. I don't know you (I follow the two who commented above me), but wanted to offer my condolences to you. I lost one of my furbabies in November (an illness that came on rather quickly) and it is so hard to go through. We had her for 17 years... long before we had our human babies, so she held a special place in our hearts. Love and light to you ❤

Warning and A/N: Alright, this goes for the next few chapters you guys. You’ve probably already picked up on the fact that I was raised around guns. Because of this, I’m very comfortable BUT safe with them. People who are reckless with guns piss me off to no end, because it makes us all look like a bunch of redneck yahoos. Obviously gun violence is a totally different subject that I don’t approve of in any way, shape or form. I don’t feel like that should have to be mentioned, but you never know. 

Guns have their place… I happen to believe specifically in self defense. I don’t share this to be offensive to anyone who doesn’t like guns or is scared of guns. I share this because we all know what’s coming in the next few chapters. I find it extremely frustrating these days that all the bad guys have guns, but the good guys are forced to use chairs or broom handles. It’s unrealistic and it subconsciously makes gun owners look evil. 

Guns are used in the next few chapters. Discussions of murder happen in the next few chapters. Vigilantism happens in the next few chapters. When coming to this section I realized that it’s very different for the King to ride in and try to kill someone vs a business owner. One is… or at least FEELS… more legal than the other. However, I’m taking a self defense stance with the subject, though the lines are a little blurred here. Again, I’m not trying to be offensive, this is just the way I would handle things in this very VERY specific situation in this universe that doesn’t even exist ;)
