Help save my teeth and be able to eat pain-free

I need your help, people. You might remember that I am in need of several crowns on my teeth and in one case the pain has become so bad that I can't sleep and it's starting to affect my hearing and sight (isn't the human nervous system amazing?)

Long story short: I talked to my dentist and insurance again, and I need to pay 850 euro out of my own pocket (insurance is covering most of it, though) We do have about 150 already.

Dentist tried to do something for the time being, but it didn't work, the break/fissure is in such a position that it's either a crown or complete tooth out (which would be much more expensive Dx )

if you are an IF author or artist and you're interested in participating in a charity-drive raffle, please check out this form! we are aiming to do one big raffle with a single prize pool, where people submit proof of donation in exchange for a raffle ticket.

prizes we are currently considering would be things like a spicy snippet or a cosy snippet, etc. potential sketches from artists or a rendered bust, etc. and we'll allow the authors & artists to dictate how much/what exactly they're comfortable offering. donating to multiple gfm will mean more entries into the raffle. we'll be offering a list of potential gfm to donate to (we're going to try and focus on ones with low funds) & any artists/authors offering prizes can specify if they want to sponsor specific gfm.

Sometimes a creative outlet is a fun little hobby and sometimes it's a lifelong affliction. Like I crochet because making little woven animals sparks joy and I'm a writer whether I like it or not because I'm tormented by visions

I'm not ignoring my WIPs. they're ripening in my mental cellar

So, I am working on the update- I'm just terrible at estimating time for these things and am also having complicated feelings on what I've written. But it's coming and I'm going to keep chugging along, putting a pin in these parts to come back and edit later so I don't end up in a perfectionist loop of editing and rewriting the beginning. There's gonna be a lot of pins.

That said, one way I keep my sanity is the secret little side writing project I dabble in with brainstorming and plans. Which brings me to a question:

You're a formula racing driver.

You're a professional.

But besides your recent success, you are far from the finish line.

Now you're busy searching and finding sponsors and signing deals left and right. You're trying to make the right decisions. After all, you do have to maintain a certain image. On top of all of that, your ex is back and climbing the ranks after falling off the grid for five years.
