conro’s family affair is, and has been, on hiatus. she has only released the 2 chapters i’ve worked on and doesn’t seem too interested in continuing the story as of now, though she did say she would like to finish it one day.
i’ve mentioned and rementioned this multiple times on here, so please stop attacking me in my asks to finish scanlating it 😭 thank you 😭

this is embarrassing for me bc i literally made my “can everyone relax” post like yesterday, but i’m really excited!
it’s going to be serialized in drap, and the first chapter was released in the may volume that came out 3/31. i bought it and double checked that it was the first chapter she had already released 3 years ago that i’ve worked on, so i’ll pick it up starting chapter 3.
thanks to everyone who sent messages giving me a heads up!

[CQ Scanlation] One Year Anniversary Appreciation Post
24 March 2018.
So it has been a year since Captain’s Quarters Scanlation is founded by me and @fairluck! A new beginning full of laughter, joy, happiness, hurdles, goals and deadlines. We went through a lot, bonding personally with all the staffs, working on the djs, reviewing each shipper who want to join our community, posting everything, making sure it’s secure, etc. It’s tiring, it takes lot of time yet it’s still fun and brimming with warmth.
I’m very proud to be a part of this big family, I’m proud when I say I’m a member of CQ Scanlation. Everything that we released is full of love, from the doujinka that made them to the staffs that make time to actually do every steps of scanlation so non-jp fans could read them. A year have passed, so I want to appreciate and do a shout-out to all the people that has helped to make CQ happen and go this far. (I also want to do a small event/giveaway of sort but I have to see for that.)
First of all, I want to thank @fairluck, who’s currently missing (? Or no longer into snk maybe ;;; ) for being very supportive and who is also the founder of CQ with me. A big fan of Idea/Rin Seina who I met because of that very doujinka. Is a raw provider and also a typesetter in the group. (If you’re seeing this, we’re still waiting for you to come back xD).
Then @mynameismonn, who is our main translator 80% of the time even though she’s not officially affiliated with the group (a freelance translator). Met her through Fairluck (indirectly), since I found their Idea’s doujinshi scanlation at first. From there she started helping me translate my rivaere djs until now. By some turn of event, we found out that we’re actually from the same country (big surprise) hahahaha. We also share fic recs most of the time, is very recommended to ask her for recs because her taste is A+.We’re always thirsty for more good rivaere fics really.Is a dear friend, and really is a person I can talk to about anything.
The first ever ‘staff’ of CQ Scans, @nori-cat (which I still can’t mention for some reason). She came volunteering to be a cleaner, that went from 0 to 100 in the course of one month where she cleaned Rock’n’Dolless’ Border15. After that, she kinda became our specialized RnD djs cleaner! Not to say that she didn’t clean djs from other doujinka which she did. Is also a dear friend where I could go to talk about bunch of stuffs, especially to gush over our djs collection and gossip about drama. Lots have happened during the course of almost-a-year since I first know her, but you need to know that she’s a really cool-headed and patient person overall, a person that I could went to when I want to vent or fangirl. She also draws so check her out!
@rivaerelicious, who came volunteering to be a cleaner too. She did an amazing and thorough job in her cleaning, and although I halted the projects I gave to her because of her hectic irl, I’ll certainly wait until everything is sorted out for her. We’ll be waiting for you!
@corporaljaegerssweetass, a die-hard rivaere shipper that have helped me in cleaning one of CQ’s project. She also translate djs from Spanish to English, draw lots of rivaere and write fics so you can check her out!
@needsmoretea, Triste, a member who happily give us the raw of the djs that she scan. We always share the pain of buying djs, the pain of that shipping expenses and all the stuffs that went to have a physical book of the doujinshi in hand. She also write at AO3 with the username Triste, though she haven’t write for RivaEre… yet.
Pokarin, who doesn’t have a tumblr that volunteered to be a translator. Has helped in translating an ongoing doujinshi series we’re currently working, and is currently translating more doujinshi!
@xxicedteaour daddy. Jk she also helped in translating some of our projects, and help proofread some that she didn’t translate! She also do BL manga scanlation at @justpeachyicedtea so if you read BL, go check out her translations. Love you so muchdaddy<3. Actually, Diane is here, I also want to thank;

@jazd801, whom I recently met with her applying to be a new member in CQ’s livejournal. She’s certainly not ‘new’ in the fandom though ahahaha. Is a donator, currently a cleaner too in the team, she’s super ready to give raws and typeset too! We’re so glad to have you here.
Last but not least, thank you so much to all of the readers/members of CQ Scans who supported us all this time! Without the love from you guys, we won’t make it this far. Please continue to support us! I love you all from the bottom of my heart <3.
I hope we can survive another year, still going strong and could still make this kind of appreciation post next year xD. (Also since season 3 is upon us too).
Eren’s birthday is soon, and I’ll release a new doujinshi for him just like last year.

[ Update after many years…]
People, so sorry. I just came back from beyond the grave to update… I know that several people have written to me and that they never had an answer. Sorry, there are too many messages T-T But most of them were asking about the status of our projects… So answering directly here. Yes, we are working on “Blue Lust” “Rouge” and all other projects. So dont worry. A few days ago the translator wrote to me and says that she is already energized to finish everything at once!
So thanks for writing! On the other hand, how are you seeing. Today we update some projects! And all this could not be without the gentle people who help us every day. So I thank a lot of #Anon @xxicedtea @namasuki @chibachibascans @fluffwords @doubletan @namiinamii @fantaisy06 #Ash @sunakokawada #Yoru In fact, I wanted to update more projects but I have to edit other chapters for another group, so as soon as I finish I will continue to update more chapters.
And of course, I dont forget! Coming back to the world of scanlation just because this past March 7 the new chapter of “Caste Heaven” was published and obviously, we are already working on it! I want to especially thank #Anon for sharing their scans with us so quickly. And also to @namasuki and #Yoru who are translating and cleaning with a lot of speed to update it soon!

The update part of this post is the fact that I told you guys I wanted to peace out by the end of 2017 and look at where we are now. The excuse is:
