I want to read a fanfic where the war ends because all the Autobots and Decepticons started secretly dating each other.
All of them.
Secretly doing "enemies to lovers" until there's no enemies left and now they have these two whole armies of lovers and the war becomes so fucking awkward mess.
Because whoever you shoot at is either going to be your boyfriend, your friend's boyfriend, or your boyfriend's friend.
Like. I don't even care about what pairings that could be haha.
Imagine. Deadlock sneaks into the Autobot medbay in the middle of the night to see Ratchet, but on the way he runs into Vortex, who is looking for First Aid.
Blurr tries to sneak into Shockwave's lab, but goes to the wrong lab and runs into Starscream making out with Jetfire.
Bumblebee and Hot Rod decide to cancel the evening race to "go to bed early" but end up bumping into each other, in the company of Thundercracker and Soundwave.
Megatron dates Optimus, because of course he dates Optimus. Bruh

i wish we’d got to see more of perceptor in mtmte in terms of character development because there was so much to work with by the time mtmte began. in drift’s miniseries, perceptor is shot through the chest and left for dead and was only saved because drift went back for him. he decides he needs to repay the favor and become a warrior by modifying parts of his body despite people telling him not to. he goes on to fully join the wreckers, the group renowned for dying, as a sniper and by the last stand he’s passively suicidal. not only that but his relationship with prowl is one where despite protesting to prowl about the unethical things prowl wants him to do and keep quiet about he does them anyway. he keeps his mouth shut. i just wish we got more of him to see him actually pull himself out of that sort of self-destructive mindset besides “if he does science enough and sees commendable enough science he becomes more like his former self.” plus the person we actually see him closest with, drift, prior to mtmte is forced to leave only a quarter of the way through the series and we don't get to see the effect that has on him. theres so much there and it would've been nice to have seen in explored.

Anyway, I'm curious about Jazz. I know most fans characterize him as the 'moral officer' of the Autobots that secretly analyzes his fellow bots but your Jazz doesn't sound like that. Is Jazz considered friendly or is he considered intimidating? How does the common Autobot see him and how does this view change after the Ark crashed?
Hello P-food anon! Nice to see you again.
Jazz is seen as a very competent and charismatic bot. Most respect him for his personality and skill. No one really knows him. Those who fight close to him notice how mysterious and private he is. His reputation is great despite that, and most find him to be a very fun and talented mech.
Is he intimidating? Absolutely! He knows how to get things done.
He’s sent on missions alone frequently - not because he’s arrogant but because he really is the best bot for the job.
After the Ark crashed, Jazz found himself opening up to others slowly. It was getting harder and harder to cope with all this trauma and looking after others while keeping all of this in. He needed at least someone to know who he truly was. To have a real relationship with someone, a real friend.
The Autobots slowly realize Jazz isn’t as perfect as they thought he was. He has his flaws, his feelings.
It’s safe to say the Autobots learn to love him even more after that.
