          a quick conversation about battle plans from kiran had left her standing in askr castle thinking about what to do next. the tactician had left a few minutes ago, busy to do something else in the castle. a small sigh escaped her as she relaxed, loosening her grip on leiptr. peace && downtime was more than sacred to her. with all that was piling up besides the war with surtr, it felt like a she didn’t have a second to herself anymore. not that she minded though. she had a debt to askr && was ready to do whatever she had to to repay it.           with a keen eye, fjorm noticed a pink haired unit approaching her. how it stood out, but it looked good on her. she straightened herself back up as the other approached, but kept her loose grip on leiptr. she knew there was no danger here && she was more than capable of defending herself if she needed to. after the other girl had introduced herself, fjorm spoke, her face neutral but tone gentle && friendly.           ❝ yes, that’s me. it’s nice to meet you soleil. please, don’t apologize. ❞

     ❂ 𝑆𝑜𝑙𝑒𝑖𝑙;;– Soleil was perhaps a touch nervous as she cast I quick glance at the other’s weapon-- Actually, she wondered if her father had met the end of it once. Knowing him, possibly likely, though hopefully avoided. Still, despite that, the weapon looked way nicer than the sword she was currently bearing: a just plain and simple one.

     Returning her gaze to the other, she gave a nod and folded her hands behind her back and bowed. Done solely for the fact that the woman before her was a princess who had acknowledged this. Necessary? Perhaps it was hardly, but she was raised to know such mannerisms.

     ‘ But I am anyway. Just kinda habit, y’know? Actually, I think my father would have done the same in my position. ‘ A joke? Oh absolutely! Just something to break the ice a little further. ‘

     ❂ 𝑆𝑜𝑙𝑒𝑖𝑙;;– The young mercenary couldn’t really help but stare at the woman across the hall in the castle. Kiran had explained why she was there-- Not to mention, Alfonse and Sharena had continuously talked to her. Though, Soleil had to admit, she never actually made a move to try and talk to her. Which, by all counts, was probably her first mistake. Something she had learned quite well from her father. And while she wasn’t looking to do her normal act by any means, the point still remained that she had to do it eventually.

     Today was going to be that eventually. Surely, there wasn’t anything to worry about-- Just another warrior like her fighting all the odds. Tossing whatever dark locks had fallen out of place back, Soleil made her way over with a bright smile on her face.

     ‘ Hey there! Fjorm, right? I don’t think we’ve ever properly introduced, which is my fault. My name’s Soleil. ‘

Just ask Soleil, one of many who pleasured in making her way through the busy lunchtime crowds-- Often to offer lunch to the lucky person who decided to stop and talk to her for a spell. She had been walking for about an hour or so, stopping when she felt her own stomach alert her of it’s emptiness. Alright, so she may have lunch alone, no matter. Though she didn’t expect to see a familiar face at the cafe she stopped at.
