Esmie playing a tiny bell - Borrowed Trouble (Super Monsters) (Netflix)
On December 2023, I watched "Super Monsters" (a Netflix show) and I quite loved it, a lot, really, and, of course, one of my most favorite characters from it is Esmie, the teacher of Pitchfork Pines' kindergarten, and, for me, the MVP of the show. I think that she deserves more love, really, she's such a great and adorable character that's quite underrated!

Something slightly funny for anyone that never watched Ojamajo Doremi/Magical Doremi
Heads up there's spoilers below
So for some context for anyone that hasn't seen Ojamajo Doremi(especially season 2) a group of girls got put in charge of a baby meant to be the next queen of the Witch World.(Witches & wizards live in seprate worlds from Earth/the non-magic world & also are born from plants)
The person holding the baby/next in line for the throne is the school nurse who is keeping an eye on the baby during the girls singing competition. The person in the hat next to her is a wizard in desquise who needs the baby to help the wizard world so he's trying to kidnap her.
Ignoring the fact he's freaking the nurse out the funny thing about this picture is who the nurse actually is. In the final season of the show(Ojamajo Doremi Dokkan) late into the season it's revealed the nurse is the human form of the current witch queen.
So this woman likely knows this is a wizard trying to kidnap her successor. Just something about being aware of her identity makes moments with the nurse a little funnier especially when you know how she acts when she's in her witch form.
hearing people's voices for the first time after seeing them in text for a while is always sooo funny it gives so much context too. for some people its like yeah this is completely what I imagined and for some its like wow the vocabulary is the same but the tone is completely off from what I expected

I feel like some people need to relearn Genre Expectations... "Man, this tragedy sucks!!! Why didn't they just do XYZ, then everything could have ended happily!!" well, then it wouldn't be a tragedy, would it. "Man, this lighthearted teen romcom is terrible, it's so sappy and unrealistic!!" Well, yeah. If it had been gritty and dark, it wouldn't have been a lighthearted romcom, would it. Is the writing actually bad or are you just trying to order a milkshake from a Home Depot
